    Morning to all

Can you offer any suggestions for a project to do for my daughter's bedroom (she has just turned 2) and my son's one too (he is almost 8 months). I did think about birth samplers but I think by the time they are finished, they would be too babyish!! I loved the toy shelf design from the special edition cross stitch magazine last year but I am a little daunted by this as I have only ever stitched froma kit - never a magazine chart.

I also thought about doing their names but I seem to have misplaced my copy of WOCS with the ragdoll alphabet that was from about April last year :o

Any suggestions welcome - my daughter already has a couple of WTP stitched designs that I did many years ago and hung in my old bedroom.

    Regards

Backstitched one of the 'arms' of the windmill on Tulips this morning - think there is another four to go. Can't think what the technical term is for the 'arms' of a windmill - its soooo cold here must be suffering from brain freeze:o

Not looking forward to going out this morning as it is so so icy

Keep warm and stay safe everyone

I love the SPring Fairy on 123 Stitch. I love Fairies, and quite tempted by this one myself now :rotfl:

  • Quick question, does anyone have one of those Cross Stitch designers you use on the pc? I'm thinking of buying one, but was looking for feedback before I take the leap. (Not that I've not got enough stitching to do of course!)

Do you like this one? It's one of the kits I sorted out this week to put on next time there's a free listing weekend.

    i think they are sails

sorry havent been in for ages im trying to declutter and catch up on some knitting so havent had my stitching out for a while. to be honest i read something on here that put me in a quandary. i need advice ive marked my titanic out with a white adia marker my dd got me form america via ebay, any way after reading bad reports on here about them im now scared that ive ruined it, the adia is navy and the sky and some of the sea isnt stitched jsut the stars the icebergs and a few ripples so do i spend ages stiching finish it and possibly not be able to wash the white marks out, or do i take it off the frame wash it now partly done then struggle to finsih it IF the marks come out. its sort of put me off as im already thinking ive ruined it and have wasted all that time.:o

anyway i hope all are well sorry i havent back read but wil go back and look at all the lovely photos now as they always inspire me.

  • debtd: Tis free listing this weekend (if you didn't already know).

lancslady: you don't need a PC one there are lots of online freebies.

Ailsb: I have a very simple basic (i think somewhere still) baby looking out of a cabbage (it is much cuter then it sounds writen here). Or a few alphabets I think.

23rd: please don't break MSE again with your stitchy stashes :D at least we had facebook.
The Fairys are lovely...... but..... I have no urge to stitch them.

I reallllly want to start a dictionary one but have told myself I won't until cut thro palace is finished. Then rememebred I was going to stitch them for birthday cards etc - ohhh wonder if I can find a good quick valentines day design one?
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
