I've recently bought one of those pens that you all use after seeing them on here, and after looking at Moomummy's stitching above, I really need to get started with mine. The only thing is, and I know its going to sound really stupid, but how do you actually do it??
I used to mark all the way accross and up the page every 10 squares (completly square the aida). but now I (attempt) to just put crosses on the aida at every 10th square.
(I say attempt as the last one I did I messed up 3 times :rotfl:)loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

started thomas last night but cant wait to finish it already, it hass fractional stitches which i hate, dont really want to stitch it but promised a cousin and of corse the quicker it is done the quicker i can start forest light!
have a good day everyone, whatever you are up to
xxxx
just noticed that picture is terrible!!!
Love this - these dictionary designs are great. You have reminded me that I have one as a UFO which I must dig out as it is largely finished apart from the last of the dreaded backstitch0 -
Thank you for the congrats everyone
I actually did some stitching last night, I'm finding it very hard going though because the blue is 4 strands and the green is 5 so it takes a bit of effort to push the needle through! The blue is nearly finished so I might do a deal with myself where I start with a patch of green then get to do some of Santa at each session
This is what I'm stitching http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Checking-His-List-Stocking__DIM-8645.aspx
This is my progress

It's not the best picture as I took it last night lol
This will be stunning and real family heirloom. Will you have to stitch 2 more now?0 -
Moosmummy - love the stockings. These will be great once they are finished - having typed that it sounds as if I am having a go but I'm not I'm just commenting that they are a lot of work.
My Embroiderer's Prayer is coming along nicely and I am starting to think about next project. As I have both of my nephews wives expecting this year (one due beginning of May and the other beginning of June) I need to decide what to do for them. I am thinking of some sort of birth announcement. If anyone can help out in any way I would be more than grateful.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Maria - I'm not really sure. As far as I know neither of them have any firm decisions on what the babies rooms are going to be like. I quite like the idea of something with either animals or possibly a toy box (have a feeling someone on here did a toy box at some stage). I don't want to do Winnie the Pooh as I get fed up of blocks of the same colour when doing Pooh.
Sorry to sound so vague.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j
