I used to mark all the way accross and up the page every 10 squares (completly square the aida). but now I (attempt) to just put crosses on the aida at every 10th square.
(I say attempt as the last one I did I messed up 3 times :rotfl:)

Love this - these dictionary designs are great. You have reminded me that I have one as a UFO which I must dig out as it is largely finished apart from the last of the dreaded backstitch

The blue is nearly finished so I might do a deal with myself where I start with a patch of green then get to do some of Santa at each session

Moosmummy - love the stockings. These will be great once they are finished - having typed that it sounds as if I am having a go but I'm not I'm just commenting that they are a lot of work.

My Embroiderer's Prayer is coming along nicely and I am starting to think about next project. As I have both of my nephews wives expecting this year (one due beginning of May and the other beginning of June) I need to decide what to do for them. I am thinking of some sort of birth announcement. If anyone can help out in any way I would be more than grateful.

Maria - I'm not really sure. As far as I know neither of them have any firm decisions on what the babies rooms are going to be like. I quite like the idea of something with either animals or possibly a toy box (have a feeling someone on here did a toy box at some stage). I don't want to do Winnie the Pooh as I get fed up of blocks of the same colour when doing Pooh.

Sorry to sound so vague.
