Mags- Also love hard frost so far, gonna look fab. I was thinking of doing a horse one for some family but they have no appreciation of cross stitch at all! :( so don't think I will bother. One less lot to stitch for.

In other news. Now I have my uber lot of DMC, I am selling all my anchor thread so if anyone needs any colours I'm asking 35p each skein. plus p+p at cost. I imagine, cost of large letter max.
So just pm with list of colours required and I will see what I have. I have around 100 i think, if not more.

By the way, anyone know any other forums which allow selling of cross stitch stuff?

    Cheers

Ha ha that is so funny :rotfl: I was the first bidder on the Tigger kit and you outbid me ! Then I forgot the auction was ending so missed out on a bidding war with you :rotfl: how much would you have gone up to ?

I would be interested when you get the kit to know if thread numbers are listed. I have this kit but have mislaid the threads but the chart I have lists the Winnie the pooh thread numbers. If your chart has dmc thread numbers, please would you let me know?

haha that IS funny! I think, because it's a smaller design I would have gone up to maybe £6ish, including the P+P So I definitely think I got a real good bargain, which is why I might do this one charity, will see how I feel after it's done! I would have kept it for myself if I'd have ended up paying more lol

I will defo let you know if the chart has DMC numbers with it :)

    Love these free seaside stitches.

Off to see if I can manage 100 stitches on Sleeping Beauty before I'm off the gym.

On subject of erasable highlighter pens - I picked up two today at Rymans and they were £1.79 each - Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Only trouble they only had the yellowy greeny colour - would have liked two different ones.

That was a good deal, nice one!
Have you tried yours yet? At first I wasn't very impressed with them but now I have tried them a few times they are ok. I tried them on a scrap piece of paper that had been printed on and I nearly put a hole in it I was rubbing so hard. I found being gentle and patient is best and waiting for the ink to dry before trying to erase it helps :D

Thank you. I get a bit addicted to buying Winnie the Pooh Cross Stitch stuff on ebay :T Its a good place to pick up discontinued kits etc.

Do you sell cross stitch stuff on ebay? I did back along but stopped after I got scammed selling a Margaret Sherry chartbook :(

    Evening all

I have decided that me and the 2 little ones might venture to Hobbycraft tomorrow at Nottingham. I know it's a bit pricey but I can see if I can pick anything up to make up for the craft fair thingy. It is 23rd Sept so not sure whether to do a few Christmassy things but not been told yet if I cna include cross stitched cards as I think there will be another hand-made card stall. WHat does everyone think?

Also, do the range have much cross stitch stuff as there is one on the same retail park as Hobbycraft?

    Regards

Hi Emma - when I was in the Range last week I cannot really say that I saw any cross stitching stuff (shame on them) but they do have papercraft/cardmaking stuff. Also noticed they had a good supply of reasonably priced frames esp the very large ones.

Hope you have a successful shopping trip. Good luck with the craft stall.
