Just dropped in briefly to let you all know that I am still here - just been very busy. We go on holiday on Saturday and things have been a bit manic.

Louise - Earth is looking fantastic, I really wish I had your patience and speed of stitching.

Soulie - the Eagle coming along a treat. How much more is there to do?

Can't remember who mentioned it but yes it is me that has signed up to the Hardinger SAL.

I managed to finish the IT crowd design in time for hubbys birthday and have been concentrating on the tiger. I will have it finished before I go away, I will have it finished before I go away, I will have it finished before I go away. If I tell myself enough it may be true.

Off now to try to finish a bag I have still to put a handle on.

i just discovered pinterest the other day and happily lost a few hours. one link just leads to another to another........ some BRILL boards for ideas to do with kids/ behaviour etc.

Hoping to finish red arrows tonight but am in my fav stitching place (bed) and it's soo annoying - too cold ontop of the covers too hot underneath!!
    well here's day 1 update:
7592833222_227f33a911_m.jpg as you can see i have changed the smoke pattern a bit.

Might not get on till late tomorrow as won free tickets to go see 'Ted' at the cinema so hubby's mate is babysitting :T - tis payback time!!

don't know if anyone saw Across Town stitching's status on facebook earlier
Rather shocked to find out that Anchor will no longer be making Disney kits and nobody else in taking it over :-(

so either a) ebay prices will sky rocket or b) there'll be a brilliant sale.
    Just incase anyone is interested.

Also saw this Bothy kit. It's another of those I really like, but the colours just look so wrong.

I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never be devoid of UFO's...and I can live with that. :D:j

    Morning ladies

THrough all your extensive research, does anyone know the cheapest place for Anchor threads please? Willow fabrics is cheaper than Sewandso but wondered if you'd found anywhere cheaper. The multi packs on fleabay are no good as I have 25+ colours already out of the 50 in the pack.

    THanks

Have you looked at Across Town Stitching? Their thread (both Anchor and DMC) is 40p a skein. Postage is £1 if you spend up to £3, £1.50 if you spend up to £20 and free if you spend over £20 (p&p info can be found under the 'order' link on left hand side) Many of us have used ATS and have had no problems at all.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Hi ladies, i need your help :) I'm almost finished my mums RM, just the purple corner squares to do. Now to my question, should i put a black border between the 3 smaller designs or not? i might photoshop a version to see.
