Ailsb. Nice progress on Good Marriage and I love the colours on the Rainbow Tree.

Louise. Loving the Earth! We all know what a PITA confetti stitching is to do but it never ceases to amaze me how brilliant it makes a design look when done.

Here's my first update pic, 2 weeks in and nice and easy to stitch,
    Photo-0005-11.jpg

Here's a reminder of what it will look like when finished except I am going to change the pink slide steps to blue.

I blame photobucket :rotfl: Seems glitchy today, keeps moving pics around so I copied the same link twice, realised the mistake and had to go and change it. Also I always change the size of my pics before posting them here but today the top pic size keeps changing back to original size then changes to edited size. Oh well, so long as it doesn't get any bigger I'll leave it alone :D

Soulie's pictures have just reminded me to ask this :

I've seen lots of people's pictures where they take the "left over" thread from the back of the fabric through to the front (I'm presuming so that they can start up again with that colour on the next page of the chart?).

How do you know which colour thread is which? Especially with similar shades?

I always finish the thread off and start with a new piece, but that obviously uses more (although I've never run out of pre cut threads supplied with kits, so maybe not that much more!).

Be interested to hear the various views.
