That is truly lovely Louise - and I didn't manage a single stitch on mine yesterday. teething baby and husband working long hours are not conducive to me cracking on with the long unfinished project! I've got some black aida to do some penguin skittles from CrossStitcher but I MUST finish my unfinished pile first!

maria and the imps - My husband was working in IT in the south-east but his firm was having redundancy rounds and between the stress of that and the enjoyment having totally gone out of his job, he was approached to work for a firm doing high-tech specialist security solutions ... in the Far East - so here we are! At the moment he's working much longer hours but (most of the time) has a much greater degree of enthusiasm for what he's doing. Not sure how long we'll be here for though and we'll probably be back in Blighty after this!

chickywiggle - will have a go a the Flickr malarky. Never been a flickr-er to date! :0)

Fingers crossed today has more opportunities for getting some stitching in!
  • Wow Louise, is all I can say lol
Mrs F how exciting to spend time in the far east

It's a WOW from me too Louise. It looks amazing - colours really stand out.

No stitching for me yesterday with the furniture building and this morning all I've managed so far is a bath, washing in and now I'm slumped on sofa with a cuppa and laptop. Will have to get my backside into gear and get a move on. I was so looking forward to putting everything back in wardrobes and drawers (all nice and tidy) and so far I just can't get the enthusiasm up to it. It will come - I'm sure .........:)

Off to unload washer. Will have a catch up later.

Fantastic stitching Louise, good to see you steaming ahead as usual!!

Really need to get back to Made in Britain, but was out in the garden (and greenhouse) all morning, making the most of the dry weather. I came in for
a spot of lunch and to re-bid for the threads on e*ay. Thought I'd pop by since I was on the 'puter...it would be rude not too!! :rotfl: Heading out again later to tidy up the front garden...just so good to be sitting down for a bit :D

Well done everyone else on all your stitching too....I haven't forgotten you!!! One day I will be shamed into returning to my long-standing UFOs...Louise, I will finish them sometime, I promise!! :o:o

Gloucester? Wave hello to my mum while you're there. That's my home town. :)

I finished stitching a little sampler yesterday. Will post a pic when I get chance. Off into town for my first outing since I hurt my back 10 days ago.
