Love the cats, they are beautiful! The hearts are coming along very quickly too.

Louise - Could you please remind me of the colour of thread that you usually use for 'flesh'. I am sure you posted it a few days ago - I have had a quick look back but can't seem to find it. I'm running a bit low on the one I've got so I thought I would top it up before I run out. No hurry for it. Thanks

Doing this from my work computer so hope boss doesnt see me.Does anyone remember the website, I am sure I seen it advertisedin here about selling small lengths of threads (eg 1m) quite cheaply.I have ordered what I need for my wee anniversery card I am going to dobut I have read on their facebook page there might be some delay in delivery - I was hoping to start it this weekend and do it when he is sleeping and finish it next weekend - our anniversery is July 7th - so need to be done by then or before it to set it all up.This is why I am also looking for the card.Hope you can help - if need do I will just have to wait and try and do it when I am at work in my lunchHope all are wellsweetcarer ;)

apologies for formatting I am using EXCEL at time of writing and copying it over to here.

Hi - I have got myself a little confused - have you ordered the threads but they will be delayed or is it the card you are still looking for?

If it's the threads you need help with I have plenty spare ones kicking about, let me know.

The updates look great, love the Tiger and cats both look stunning!

Quick Q, I have purchased a bath mitt and small towel in dusky pink for my mothers b'day but I'm not sure how to personalise the band on each. Does anyone know where I can find free art deco / nouveau, macintosh border/ flowers etc. Any ideas what to write?

Any advice greatly appreciated as always!

In other stitchy news. I finished my summer exchange piece and sent it off to Texas. By the time I had finished and 'got creative' trying to mount it looked more crafty than stitchy, oops. Also was first time using metallics.

I am still working on my oriental exchange and will also incorporate some metallics and possibly try some beading..ooh it's all soo exciting :) I have also purchased DMC 'Cats chorus' kit from a forum so will look forward to starting that one soon also. Busy Busy with soo many stitchy birthday pressies coming up :)

Okay, so we haven't had a random question for a while - here's one.

If you were to stitch a reproduction of a painting by a famous artist, which would you choose and why?

I have stitched a 'waterlilies' by Monet in the past but doubt I would do one like that again - it was on pre printed fabric and I felt a little cheaty when I stitched it lol

I quite like the melting clocks (ok i know thats not the official name but you should know what i mean).

Salvador Dali - The persistence of memory??

I love the Escher designs, also starry night by Van Gogh and some of the pre-raphaelite or art nouveau artists. They would be incredible to stitch up :)

Thanks Louise - made a note of it for when I place thread order.
