at least its dry again....so far

im working on the back stitch and detail now of the little crown, wasnt enough silks in the kit but luckily ive got some to finish it and i misplaced the centre so mine wont have the little cross on the top of the crown, but i thin my mum will be able to live with that.

There's quite an outcry about the quality of the kit, and rightly so in my opinion. Yes it's called free, but it is paid for in the overall cost. Some people are horribly saying its not the end of the world, use your stash ect. Sorry but we pay for it, and some people don't have stashes, and why should they pay twice?!? And it's not as if this is the first time!

I'm cancelling my sub, I don't want this disappointment anymore, don't like being ignored, and soon the Xmas charts will be back anyway!!

Emily Peacock seems bewildered at the outcry... But it's a kit in her name. I'd want reassurance her big kits are decent quality now too before buying one.
Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!

Chicky - How do you keep up to date with designers status?

I've just added 12 photos to the flickr group. I would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to everyone on hear for the motivation and support that you have shown to me over the last 12 months. Without you I know that I would never have finished the projects that I have.

I still have a very long list of designs to complete, ever growing due to the same lovely people who have given support!!! I am still trying to finished one UFO in between starting a new piece. The tiger is the next to be finished - I promise.

I hadn't realised how much I had achieved as a result of being a member here until I added the photos. Thanks again to everyone.

i know - i think IIRC she's put that she doesn't have anything to do with the materials just the design but even so - surly that is the same case in 'real' packages.

Save the subscription money and buy a nice kit. :D
