Well, after all the hassle with the wrong size fabric, I'm not sure I like the bookmark :rotfl:I'll make it up, but it might make it's way on to the craft stall at the chuch flower festival next month.
Cross Stitcher not bothered to respond to comments on facebook, or my email.

I was just hoping you might be able to give me some advice? I don't really know many cross stitchers to ask!
I usually do cross stitch kits but last week bought my first ever pattern and a few of the threads to get me started.. how do you sort your threads out? Do you cut them in to lengths to start with? and then how do you stop them getting tangled? Usually when I do a kit they come in lengths on a card all marked up etc in the first place! Is this the easiest way to do it?
Sorry for jumping in with questions straight away!!
Hi there, welcome we like questions
I printed out a sheet with all the colours for my current project, laminated it then used a hole punch to make the holes. I cut the thread in 1m lengths so have all the colours ready when needed. You don't need to print/laminate its just going to be a long project for me so it was to make it last. It would work well with a bit of card from a cereal box and hand written numbers then make some holesI have the word template if you would like it.
Chicky, well done on your win :j i loved the artic loveables so have subscribed to try and win it :rotfl:
Doggie is doing really well her blood sugar level is perfect and she is bulking out again, no more vets for a month unless its an emergency, YAY :j My finger  another doctor another diagnosis he said thyroid borderline no treatment needed, he is treating my finger as a eczema/infection problem so supplied antihistamines, Fucidin H Cream and Diprobase Cream. I'll try it for a week then go back if no better :rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

apparently knutsford (cheshire) is the half way point between cornwall and scotland.
lovely of you to offer lifts sk00bie.
Actually started a pink Made in Britain birth sampler (from last September's Cross-stitcher mag) last weekend. The baby wasn't due unitl the end of June, but was born last Friday. She was 5lb 6oz and back home the same day!! Also making my first patchwork quilt for her, need to get the binding on it today, so nearly done there.
Off into town now with DS2 to get him some shoes for his awards day next week (he's leaving college and has done well enought to get to Uni in Sept :j). He lives in trainers, so he needs to get some shoes...will come in useful for other events too.
Enjoy the rest of the week everyone, another couple of busy days ahead of me.

Afternoon all
Just catching up before it's time to collect DD from nursery.
23rdspiral I am also an east midlander - whereabouts are you?
Does anyone know if there is a printable/downloadable list of Anchor threads so I can mark off what I have in my box without me having to sort through them again and again?
Trying to sort out what to take on my hols with me - smaller bits and bobs or a larger project. Going with family and Mum so may be rude to try and sit and stitch on a larger project of an evening.
