Well I'm painting today and supposed to be at aerobics tonight so I don't think a great deal of stitching will be getting done today.
Take care everyone,

chicky have you tried copying it into a XS designer and seeing what happens?? It might not turn out, but if someone wants to send me the design I'm happy to give it a go - I'm using Jane Greenoff XS Designer thanks to you helpful ladies on here
Well I finished Chop Chop off Moshi Monsters yesterday. I'm quite pleased with it, as I didn't think it would turn out very good. I didmn't have all the correct colours so had to improvise a bit. I'll post a piccie on a little later.
The only thing now is that my daughter wants me to stitch another for her friend, plus a whole picture of Moshi Monsters! Oh and I had to buy Chop Chop off Ebay for her yesterday as she was missing that figure. For any Moshi fans, have you seen the price some of them little critters go for on Ebay? I was gobsmacked :eek:St. Francis said: “A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. He who uses his hands, and his mind, and his heart is an artist.”0 -

There are free downloads of graph paper for xs such as this one. Have you got a light box to make tracing easier? If not holding the paper against a window can work for tracing a design. Good luck - it sounds lovely and a perfect gift to cheer her up0 -

Hi all, thankyou for your less-stress wishes.
Nothing is really progressing. DirectLine havnt got back to me, the repair place havnt either, and no progress getting my wall fixed / made safe.
Ive been looking for something. One of those things "in a safe place". But I decided i was going crazy so Stopped looking for lost thing, instead looked at wedding dresses for 2 hours, then began tidying up 3 days worth of chaos that came from looking for lost thing. Decided to file things differently. AND FOUND LOST THING!!! :j
Oh and in the 3 days of looking for lost thing I also threw away a ton of old paperwork, tidied the shed and attic, and found £50! Win. Win! WIN!!! :j
Yes the lost thing was my paper driving licence, and it was tucked in my disability statement (yes, the statement that declares I have trouble organising things!! :rotfl:) I now realise it was there with my birth cert since my job interview last May!
Reward = I'm gonna give some time to stitching! Yay!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -

Nope not tried it yet, might have to have a play at the weekend (or send it to you :rotfl:)The_Dragon wrote: »another way is to print the graph paper, then put that back in the printer and print the design/s you want
Do you know it had NEVER occured to me to do this. SOO simple!! The last time I 'created' one (without using a cross stitch creater) I printed the graph paper onto an acetate sheet. Printed the picture off and put it underneath then sellotaped the 2 together. It was impossible to stitch but actually turned out not too bad.
23rd what a productive day. I think your reward should be to spend the £50 on stitchy stuff.
Louise - the ballarina looks LOVELY in that frame, it was made for it.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
