    Morning everyone.

Love the pin cuhsion, I might make something similar for my daughter, she is always losing her needles!

Maria, I so feel for you moving house with 3 kiddies. I love moving house, its always so exciting, but so stressful too - hope it all goes ok!

I did a little Winter Angel last night, although not a lot. Ive been doing her wings, and was trying to watch Holby at the same time, so was getting a bit stressed to be honest lol

No stitching for me today - well not my own anyway - as its school holidays my daughter is making a list of things she wants to do today, and at the top she has written "no XS Winter Angel!"

She does however want me to finish a couple of small designs she has started including Chop-Chop (if anyone knows Moshi Monsters) I will post a piccie when its done. I don't think its going to be brilliant as we did it XS designer, which is fine, but with using cheap printer ink its not come out too clear, so fingers crossed.

Have a good day everyone :D

    Hi ladies.

Sorry newbies, meant to welcome you yesterday, was sure I added a welcome to my post but obviously didn't so Welcome to the Cafe!

Got some stitching time yesterday. Hubby went out on his bike all morning then snoozed on the sofa in the afternoon so I got my stitching out to stop me going to sleep too :D

FOS. Your Jubilee cushion is coming along great, the trim looks like it was made for it!
    The pincushion is cute too.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Thanks FOS! That's enough info to know which box to look in :)

Oh, and that's a great idea... Think I'll steal it... Of copying a chart I know I'll stitch when I get it, so it's ready when I need it in a separate file I think.

I find it very useful when I get into situations where I need to stitch something else because I am disillusioned with my current WIP. It's like having my own stash of kits (on top of my stash of actual kits of course :D)

    Shelleyphant and tootallulah - Hellllo,
Good luck and keep us posted with pics.

oucchy sweetcarer things can only get better eh!! I'm currently sporting a fetching plaster on my thumb after slicing the skin trying to cut cheese yesterday.

got a couple of PM's to reply so thank you will get round to that in a min. decided to go to Railfest yesterday in York so it was a VERY longs day. If you are ever in York to lunch/ tea a family has opened a pub called "Thomas's of York" on museum street (just past the Pizza Express). They are really lovely, food is AMAZING. Cheap pub grub very similar menu to a large chain beginning with W but far better quality. Also welcomming to kids (tho no baby facility's which they are sorting) and being york not wheelchair accessible, If you know York I believe it used to be a mexican restaurant.

Was talking to a Phonex card trader about cross stitch because she was selling "dicionary of........" cards (which I'd never seen) and they had Dad and Mum. I hope these get released as cross stitch charts/ kits. (sorry for size)

    cards_dict_of_dads.jpgcards_dict_of_mums.jpg

also cut-thru cards - would love to stitch the train one for my dad. (for some reason i can't post the pic linky)

so if anyone ever sees them....................

hoping to get some stitching done tonight and get that update pic posted.

Maria hope the move went ok and you are back with us soon.

Today has been strange. I'm on holiday but because of the bank holidays, i'm all confused with my days and as my OH had to go back to work today, I've felt fed up being at home by myself.

I have managed some cross stitch. This is what I have stitched so far today....

I'm not going to give you any clues, so let me know what you think it might be :) As I progress with it, I will post more pics :j a bit like that catchphrase show where stuff gets revealed square by square :rotfl:

Erm, The roof of the kennel on snoopy

Welcome to the newbies! *waves* You'll love it here

Hope everyone had a stitchy weekend, I finished my summer exchange piece and now need to start on the oriental.

Also was wondering if anyone had a pic of the flower fairy (aiming to stitch them all one day, I have all the books and used to name them all as people I knew as a kid ). Also the vintage charm charts, sound like something I would like to stitch.

    Please and thank you.

*potters off to make Moules marinare for dinner with oh*

Consider them pestered Chicky :D. I love the dad one most!

Well still not much stitching here. GP was less than helpful today, could have done with his support at the moment.
Hoping to do some more on the Fizzy moon freebie tonight.

Well the flag dress turned out great  never thought it would! DD got lots of compliments at the jubilee picnic at school. Makes all that hard work worth it.

Flat Eric - Is it a teddy with a heart? I am thinking tatty teddy or forever friends....

    Welcome to the newbies

Love the jubilee cushion update FOS.

Right off to go try and stitch.
