The medicine is orange and for a split second tastes of orange and then tastes really strong and sour  I wouldn't drink it if I was him either! He is less spotty but still tired and nangy.

Have shoved both kids in front of Harry Potter tonight as someone has loaned us the box set - which means I get some stitchy time:beer:

    Hello Ladies

23rd - Thats awful! Hope you get some better luck very soon! You have had your 3 doses now, so if the sayings are right your good luck starts now ;).

chicky - If you go to your chemist and ask for Paramol you will be given the good stuff :D, you have to ask as it is locked in the back of the office. It is dyhydrocodine and paracetamol. It is co-codamols big brother, and it is goooood! You can only take it for 3 days though as it is strong. It will definately ease your pain!

dorastar - good to hear he is improving.

Well not much stitching here, just haven't had the motivation at all. Been feeling pretty low for a few weeks now, going to see my GP next week, hope he has some good suggestions.

    Hugs to all
    AMx

Oh Paramol ! I was taking that when I had really bad toothache! It is indeed strong.:T It served its purpose until it wore off :rotfl: I remember pacing the floor in the wee hours counting down until I could take my next dose!

So been MIA for about a week. I don't know where the week has gone and I can't believe its Friday already tomorrow! This time last week, I was just eating my tea before chilling in front of the tv. Then it was up early Friday to pack and prep for a weekend visit to the Lake District. Home from the Lakes late Monday evening. The weather in the Lakes was very warm and despite taking lots of little cross stitch projects (well plenty of material and the threads for those diet magnets I 'm stitching), I didn't do any! I also took my snoopy kits. I spent most of the time in the sun and sun cream and porta loos don't really go hand in hand with a relaxing session of cross stitch!

I have caught up with all your posts. So much seems to be going on at the moment. I wish I had a magic wand and a big fat cheque book to help you all but sadly I don't so hugs will have to do I'm afraid :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

My time off next week has finally arrived (just tomorrow to get through (dreading it) although I feel guilty that I will be off and have considered cancelling it.

I need the break however and know I won't enjoy the four day break as much if I know I am going back to work on Wednesday. I'm already worried about the work I will be going back to on Monday next! and my holiday hasn't even started yet !

Oh and in other news, feel upset about some random family stuff. Can't really go into details here - you never know who might be reading but its making me feel sad.

Oh well. mustn't dwell. think i should pick my stitchy project for next week. :j

Chicky - I love your smiley - it's really appropriate for that medicine. I agree with Harry Potter, except my son plays finding the continuity errors and insists on keep reqinding it so that I can see them. Believe me there are loads of errors in it. Still enjoy the films though.

    Hi ladies.

Dorastar. Hope your son continues to feel better.

23rd. Really sorry to read about the trouble you are having. Hope your luck changes soon!

Flat Eric. Hope you feel better soon and you enjoy your time off next week.

Chicky. Hope your arm keeps feeling better and hope it isn't affecting your stitching.

As for me. I'm wanting to get the Tiger done now so I can start something else a bit more colourful.
Not sure much stitching will get done next week though as hubby is off work so will have to fit a few stitches in when I can.
Just sat here wondering what the racket is outside and looked to see a pair of Great Tits have bought their 3 fledglings to my bird feeder! They are noisy little blighters :rotfl:
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

    *Pauses for a quick break*

Have been hectic here this week - very little stitching getting done, tonight will be the first evening I will spend in the house this week...and I fully intend to sit and stich for at least 3 hours tonight (or there WILL be trouble!) :rotfl:

Before that though, I am gutting out DD's bedroom, (messy little madam) giving the kitchen a good going over and have just been outside cleaning the windows.

    *Back to work*

Well we are now on dvd 2 - no idea which HPotter it is as I don't like them but dd is reading them all atm. Ds's spots have faded but are still there under the surface iyswim.

Olympic torch was good today (personal likes were the police bikers and uniforms around ) the torch was ok too :p

Have avoided schoolwork by cleaning bits of the kitchen that haven't really been cleaned for far too long, now am avoiding schoolwork by stitching :T

Have decided my holiday project is going to be the Winnie the Pooh and piglet design that featured on the front of WOXS the other month :j

Can't wait to get back into it :j

Did some more welsh chapel last night and realised I am down to 55 ickle 10x10 stitch squares (or bits of) which by my reckoning means that if I do one 10x10 a day the chapel will be finished apart from backstitching on........July 26th

So the aim is to beat myself and get it done before then.
