Evening to all. I have now completed 3 keyrings and just waiting for some more blanks to come from SewandSo plus some other Anchor threads.

In other news, I have cancelled my WOCS subscription today. They have confirmed that I will receive the next two issues but in the last couple and also the next one by the looks of it, I am lucky to find one design that I would want to stitch. I have already listed the July one on Fleabay along with the Margaret Sherry chart.

Have a great evening everyone - hoping to find some motivation to do a bit more on Row of Love' over the next few days

I also got my WOXS today....

Blackwork Sampler - very pretty colours, won't make my list though, no time.

What does the Blackwork Sampler look like - I do like samplers and I have never tried black work.

Thinking of you tomorrow nmm - you will be able to remember your Grandpa in your own way at home - when I couldn't get to funerals I wanted to go to because of distance I always lit a candle and done something they like - maybe have a cup of tea and some cake they liked.

Ruth-honey - your love sampler is great. How long did it take? I have this to stitch for our 25th Anniversary in October and need to do it without my husband knowing. May use some of my odd and ends of thread up on it.

Nmm - thinking of you tomorrow. I think sweetcarers idea of the candle etc is a lovely thought. Just because you can't get to the funeral doesn't mean that you're not thinking of your Granda.

Brednall - sorry to hear that you're not happy with WOXS. I have actually found something I like this month, plus I like the free chart that came with it. Have to say I'm probably unlikely to stitch the whole of the alphabet but as a "welcome" card or birthday card for a child I think they will come in handy.

Sweetcarer - your idea about the candle etc is really nice. With regards to the blackwork chart in the this months WOXS you know what to do! I don't think I would have classed this design as blackwork myself. It is mainly cross stitch with a bit of blackwork stitching. Quite like it and think it may be useful for using up floss or even for variagated floss.

So many things to stitch so little time.

Dragon - I wouldn't consider it blackwork either.

    Louise - looking good.

They have put a line on it saying 'These days blackwork is used to refer to the stitching technique, rather than the colour of thread thats used'. It's described as a 'modern twist'

There is the fancy stitching between the large X stitched words, but it's not too clear in the pic.

nmm - thinking of you today. Hope finger gets better soon too and doesn't hamper the stitching too much.

    Ruth - love your sampler.

Sweetcarer - love the idea of candle.

    Louise - nice progress.

    Take care everyone.
