Evening ladies from a very warm Newcastle.

Have had to come up as we lost my great aunt Ann on Monday :( She was always the life and soul of any gathering and will be sorely missed. Heading back home tomorrow, funeral next week. Can't believe it really...

Have been lurking, your updates have cheered me up no end.

Ruth-honey - love love love your marriage sampler.

BOBBIs MUMMY - great progress on Noahs Ark

aneres - lovely stocking kits :)

Louise and nmm - great progress too!

I didn't bring any stitching with me unfortunately, well I did but keep leaving it in the hotel =/ had the kit from this months craft seller mag though so have 3 strawberry brooches made up :) Hoping WOXS is waiting for me at home, and need to order the threads for Dads fathers day design when I get back.

Hope to have a stitch update soon! xx

Sk00bie - sorry to hear about your great aunt.

No stitching for me again yesterday, although I managed to get about 3/4 of the words for the Marriage sampler charted. Just need to chart some of the blackwork parts from the Love design in this months WOXS and see what it looks likes when done. Wont get chance today, at work this morning, Governors meeting this afternoon and Cubs tonight. Busy, busy, busy.

    Morning ladies

Just a quick catch with you all.

Bobbis Mummy - lovely progress with Noahs Ark. Great colours.

nmm - hope doggy is feeling a bit better after her op.

Ruth-honey - hope you enjoy your few days away.

sk00bie - sorry to hear your sad news. Thinking of you and your family.

Had a bad night last night - just couldn't get off to sleep and then I woke up about after 5am and just had to get up. So I cleaned the kitchen floor and dining room floor, second lot of washing just about ready to hang out, had a soak in the bath and had breakfast. At this rate I'll be ready for bed by 2pm. Still diy stuff going on here. You know what its like - doing one room = whole house looks like a tip . Having debate about wallpapers atm - keep picking up samples and just getting more and more confused.

Hope you all have lots of sunshine today.

    hi all,

hugs to skoobie (and anyone else - human or animal - who needs one).

not a lot of stitchy progress here - tho hoping to finish the current page (including backstitch) of palace tonight. Had a bit of an online shopping obsession. Spent Monday doing my order with Mr T (i wanted new pretty packaging) but came to the conclusion when it was done that I was 99% certain it would be cheaper with Mr A. So Tuesday night I but it through (exactly the same) and lo and behold it was cheaper (by £2 + £3 cheaper on delivery). + I had around £6 of 'price guarentee' vouchers from my last A shop.

So I did what any good MSE'er with too much time on their hands would do and cancelled my Mr T order. Re-jigged my Mr A order to remove anything that was a silly price and had only been ordered at T cause it was on offer. changed a few meals, added a few forgotton bits. A voila it's on it's on way tonight.

DS1 is 'poorly' with a tummy upset this week. I say 'poorly' cause unless you looked at the contents of his pants you'd not know (TMI?). Daren't send him to childminder tomorrow as she has other kids there so a day off for me. Pack DS2 off to her and hopefully DS1 will play with his lego/ in the garden and I can get some stitchy time.

for what it's worth: I wouldn't class that sampler as even close to blackwork.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
