Catwoman. Loving your Dragon, I really like the colours.
Off topic but I saw something earlier I don't think I have ever seen up close.
I was stitching away and looked up and out of the french doors to see hundreds of bees/wasps (not sure which they were) swarming around my neighbours huge xmas tree. I went upstairs and they looked to be moving from my garden and into the neighbours. They then moved to the front of the house, then crossed the road and hung around there for a while (yeah I know, they sound like local kids) then seemed to move away from sight.
It was both awful and fascinating at the same time
I have read recently that the next town along from us has had problems with swarms settling in shop doorways but have never seen one that close up before.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
love the drangon
i saw a swarm when ii was at high school it decided to attatch itself to the back of a teachers car we had to get an expert in to collect it up and take it away - they were beesSPC~12 ot 124

Just on for a quickie
Sending my condolences to Skobbie and family - sad news.
Congratulations to Ruth & Louise in your respective wedding anniverserys - ours is in July - don't know what to do for it - my parents have been nice to us again and said they have paid for a few days holiday for us with David Urquart - bus travel and holiday - nice. We are going to south Wales for a week.
Hubby was over looking my shoulder when I was looking at the "blackwork sampler" saying oh thats nice you should do something like that very colourful. So if any one has ayou know who.
Well off to check on family in facebook and might do some stitching on my lavender vase.
Kind wishes to all

Catwoman - your dragon is really coming along. It doesn't seem as if it's taken you long.
Shelly, we had a bees next under our shed, I was happy to leave it but my hubby kept telling me if the swarmed I wouldn't be so happy. Think I would have been quite scared if I'd seen it, I'm frightened of being stung as I've never been stung.
Now, apologies in advance for the long post. I've finished charting the Wedding sampler that ruth did combined with the "blackwork" design from this months WOXS. I would be grateful if people could give me their honest opinion on whether it looks too busy/cluttered/big etc. I'm not going to be able to even prefer fabric/thread until Monday evening so any comments before then would be appreciated.

The 1st line on the second page that you can't read very well says "you're never too old to hold hands". Basically it's the same words as the sampler Ruth did but without the line that said about space to grow.
I would be stitching it without my husband seeing it (same as Ruth), he works away most Monday nights so that would be my time plus an occassional hour on a Thursday. It's for our 25th Anni in October.

Ruth. Happy wedding anniversary today!
Emma. Gorjuss is lovely, looking forward to seeing her with the backstitch done.

I'm not sure if I have ever been stung or not by either a bee or wasp but I know I wasn't going out there to find out! I watched them from the safety of the house
Last time my brother was stung he had to go to A&E as his tummy swelled up at the sting site and he got a rash all over his body.
My Mum is allergic to bee and wasp stings so she goes absolutely hysterical when either of them are about.
At our old house we had the start of a wasp nest in the loft which hubby got rid of. It was the size of a tennis ball and quite beautiful to look at up close.

Ailsb. I really like your version of the sampler, you have done a good job charting it.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
