    Hi ladies.

No stitching done here at all this weekend. I was full of good intention for yesterday but never got round to it.

    Skoobie. Love the finished monsters!

Aneres. Love the update, it's coming along nicely.

Mrs. M - sounds as though you had a great time. Good luck on getting the card finished in time (you can do it)

maria - got my WOXS too. Saving it for later when I have a bit more time. Hope your headache clears soon.

DH has got the electric sander on in the bedroom. I've taken refuge downstairs atm and have said that when the dust settles I will go up after lunch and have a clear up - huh men and their power tools eh. Then I think we are going for some new coving and skirting boards - oh the joys.

    Take care everyone,

Excited to see WOXS has been landing on people's doormats today. Hopefully that means my copy will be waiting for me when I get home :j I guess Newton hasn't reappeared yet then :( I suppose they ran out of designs. :(

Ended up reading my kindle on the bus this morning so no stitching but hopfully I will feel like doing some tonight. I have just had my lunch and now I'm ready for a snooze ..... my cat's habits must be rubbing off on me :rotfl:

Aneres - great progress this week.

Mrs MP - glad you had a good time.

Sk00bie - Riley looks fab finished, your nephew is sure to love it.

Subtle-minx - I know that Aneres will reply but thought I'd let you know that the seller that we got the large kits from via ebay has amended his listings so that they now say he no longer ships to the UK. Well he has changed the listing for the kit I have.

Hi all, my copy of WOXS came today also.
    Not a bad issue.

Free Gift: It's okay, would be good for children's birthday cards, though I would have prefered a mini kit or some thread.

Nelson & Tibs: I like it. Like the colours used and the detail is good, though I can't see me stitching it.

Summer Window: It's okay, not something I would stitch though.

Father's Day Cards: Not something I would stitch for my Step-Dad nor for my partner from my son, now that he is a teenager.

Big Cats: As a big cat lover, I do like these, the lion looks a little odd to me though?

    Biscornu's: Not for me.

Sports Day Motifs: Good for children's cards again.

Bunting: I like this a lot, but I doubt I will get around to making them.

Cupcake of the Month: Not bad, again good for a birthday card.

Love in Colours: I like this, one to add to the 'to do' list.

Birdbox ABC: I like this one!

Bang on the Door: Not for me.

Garden Helpers: Nice colours, but not something I would stitch.

Furry Tales: Still unhappy there is no Newton. I don't like these designs at all.

Next issue looks like it could be a bit hit and miss too.

I also got my WOXS today....

Free Gift - Margaret Sherry alphabet booklet - adorable but I won't stitch it.

Nelson - I really love these designs, they are very simple yet effective but I nver have time to stitch any of them, I must have half a dozen of these charts bow.

Window View...eeek, flowers!:rotfl:(But very pretty)I was looking at it thinking it wold be nice to have one for each season and whaddyaknow - they will be!:T For once..flowers COULD tempt me :D

I see Faye Whittaker has a AOY Titanic design out...very nice (but poignant) (advert on pg 23)

Fathers Day cards - Very simple, good if you need a last minute make.

Big Cats - smaller designs for any of you cat lovers out there! I really like the Tiger one, the lion looks like it would annoy me before long lol:o

Sports Day Design Library - Some useful things for 'boys cards'. I have earmarked the little golf flag for my BIL's birthday card in July - that wwill stitch up in about half an hour :)

Bunting - put it this way...if I spent all that time/effort on makign bunting...there is NO way it would be getting put outside and wasted! :rotfl:

Cupcake of the month - mmmmmmm....cake....*drool* I'm on a diet *turns the page quickly*

Blackwork Sampler - very pretty colours, won't make my list though, no time.

New Home Cards - Useful, will keep on file.

Groovy Chick - Long time since I stitched a GC design - it's simple & cute but I have no need for it iyswim?

Garden Helpers - Very colourful but not my kind of thing

Furry Tales - Cute! Would make a good birthday card design.

Overall, quite a good month, a lot of variety and a couple of things I will add to my list :)

Next month has a lovely looking dolphin chart....:T
