hope your taking it easy with that headache

    flat eric -
Well I tried some B&J's last night and it was alright. I like the cherry one and the dough one better.

my WOXS issue has arrived today also, there are some nice things in there. I love the cats and the free gift -Margaret Sherry alphabet booklet. I might use the letters for something.

Louise I like the ballet silhouette and the Enchanted Melody.

I did promise a pic tonight of my dragon - I will sort it out soon. Back to stitching now

Hi all, my copy of WOXS came today also.
    Not a bad issue.

Free Gift: It's okay, would be good for children's birthday cards, though I would have prefered a mini kit or some thread.

Nelson & Tibs: I like it. Like the colours used and the detail is good, though I can't see me stitching it.

Summer Window: It's okay, not something I would stitch though.

Father's Day Cards: Not something I would stitch for my Step-Dad nor for my partner from my son, now that he is a teenager.

Big Cats: As a big cat lover, I do like these, the lion looks a little odd to me though?

    Biscornu's: Not for me.

Sports Day Motifs: Good for children's cards again.

Bunting: I like this a lot, but I doubt I will get around to making them.

Cupcake of the Month: Not bad, again good for a birthday card.

Love in Colours: I like this, one to add to the 'to do' list.

Birdbox ABC: I like this one!

Bang on the Door: Not for me.

Garden Helpers: Nice colours, but not something I would stitch.

Furry Tales: Still unhappy there is no Newton. I don't like these designs at all.

Next issue looks like it could be a bit hit and miss too.

Mine is unopened at the moment but when I retire to the sofa shortly, I shall be browsing. I am miffed at the free chart because I bought this kit on a whim a few months back. I bought it on the basis that I wouldn't stitch it as it was but would stitch the designs individually. Oh well - At least I have the threads for the chart and a spare chart to boot :)

I'm using a frame on a floor stand, it's the first time I've used one. I found it strange to use at first but I think it's great now.

Soulie - thanks for the link. I wanted to buy from Readicut the other month but decided not to as the postage was £3.99. Have just spent £27 inc p&P on 3 kits. Ordered Mini Beasts Cross Sticth Kit £5, Friends Quilt Magic Kit 5 and Sewing Room Cross Stitch Kit £15.99. As I subscribed to their newsletter and its my first order I got 10% off.

Thanks again - I know I spent money but I did a face to face interview today and got paid £45 so happy to spend some on stash. Don't know when I'll get round to stitching/making them.

I managed to resist, although there were 4 kits I wanted. Just really can not justify it at the mo :(

Thankfully I think adding up my stash to almost £200 has scared some sense into me :s
