I went off this afternoon and got all three new ben and jerry's ice cream as they are on offer. I love the cookie dough one.

I was tempted but I'm not keen on white chocolate so that ruled that flavour out and I don't need the temptation with my sw weigh in on tuesday ! (plus not enough room in freezer) so just stuck with the caramel one!

lol - I also have a tub of karamel suta sat next to me --> can never eat ben and jerrys (sorrrry I jsut can't write it as b&j with out other dirty things crossing my mind). straight out the freezer cause it's always like rock i have to wait for it to soften up. I also got mine half price as i refuse the £5 pricetag thats extortionate.

ruth_honeywell done on not getting caught. Mine would never know what I was stitching either. which reminds me I guess i outta do a fathers day card for him as my mum pointed out the other day I will be at hers on that day and he'll be on his own (woooops).

righy aim for tonight: watch the voice (did anyone think Danny was actually the worst out of all the singers in his group number yesterday:rotfl:. We've picked the 4 we wanted to get thro - lets see if we're right.

Lost my mojo a bit this week I can't seem to settle to anything, plus I've gone wrong a bit which put me off for a day.

In stitchy news. summer exchange looks much better than a pram, though have had to draw a design on the aida using pencil and hoping it will not mark when rubbing out *fingers crossed* Also just brought myself some metallic threads and a 4" plastic hoop.

I have also spent all eve, compiling bookmarks of uk suppliers online with p+p listed too. If anyone would like a copy let me know.

Whats the verdict on the ben and jerrys karamel sutra then ??? I thought it was nice (puts masterchef tasting hat on :rotfl:) but too many flavours competing against each other. Prefer other ice creams I think (Can't beat a nice plain vanilla with a nice raspberry sauce and wafer!)

in stitching news, gutted to be heading off to work. have had a second night's poor sleep

I didn't start snoopy but I am taking him with me today to stitch round the material (if I get chance that it is). I was wondering though, the design is stitched on 16 count but I wondered about stitching him on 14 count ? what do you think? The design is snoopy lazing on his house with the little yellow bird sitting on his lap and the words Its a hard life along the top.

aneres - great progress. Looking forward to seeing your updates.

Still no stitching done here. Must make a real effort to start something even if its only a card. Have got a few milestone birthdays this year coming up so might try to sort something for them.

Looks a bit dull and miserable out this morning but things are supposed to get better later in the week - they are talking of it getting up to 27 in some parts of the country.

morning all
belated happy anniversary (sorry ive back read and cant now remember who im saying that to)

managed to get free tickets to see guns n roses saturday night, thin lizzy were supporting, it was brillint but they didnt get off stage till 1.30AM so we didnt get to bed till 3AM sunday morning!!! took middle DD and elder DS with us great night, youngest DS stayed with younest DD and BF so it all worked out in the end. so i have a sleep deprived brain and still slightly ringing ears

started a little areoplane stitchy a a thank you for the lovely gentleman who showed my DS and his scouts group round the local airfield saturday morning, it was cold but very interesting. got to have it finshed and turned into a card by tonight so DS can write in it and take it scouts with him so no pressure there. i have done all the Xstitch just got the back stitch to do.
