Thanks ladies. Have had a great day so far. We went shopping and I found a lovely Radley (have been waiting to find the right one for ages) so hubby bought it for me.
We are both stuffed from chinese takeaway, no room for cake!
No stitching done today but tomorrows another day:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
ohhh !!!!!!!!! been stitching (and nearly completed this page) of princess palace. know all along I was a row too short but was convinced it was becuase i had miscounted originally (moved it all one row to the left).
JUST realised I hadn't at all and have missed out the far left row of my chart.
Ok so that probably makes no sense what so ever. what it equals is I am NOT unpicking nearly an entire page but it's gonna be horrible trying to make the backsttitch fit it.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Morning all,
Shelly Glad you had a good day yesterday.
Sweetcarer love the pic.
I didn't go to the pics yesterday as I couldn't be bothered after shopping.
I went in to Paperchase (I love that shop it's like a sweet shop for adults). I bought an organiser to put all my cross stitch mags in and this....

Not cross stitch but I thought I would give them a go for my friends' children. They were on sale for £3.50 each reduced from £14.00.0 -
Feeling in a cross stitch mood today. so might start the new snoopy kit while I have the cricket on in the background. :j
Also feeling hungoverI made the same mistake as last week and drank rose wine. I can't seem to drink anything alcoholic nowadays without feeling complete rubbish and I had an awful night's sleep
I didn't even finish my glass and poured what was left down the sink. I dread to think how bad I would feel if I had finished the glass and more

Happy anniversary for yesterday - sounds like a wonderful day.
Yesterday I was contacting people about coming to ours one of the days over the Jubilee weekend to celebrate my parents' 64th wedding anniversary. Not easy as lots of people have plans but we will manage something and my parents would far rather have a family do at a house than go out to a restaurant. It's also easier when the ages range from 1 to 89. If the weather is kind it will be lovely.
I know that was off topic but here is a xs query related to the above. I hope and pray that next year we will be celebrating their 65th anniversary which doesn't seem to have a name though it qualifies you for a card from the Queen (they received one for their 60th and I had it framed together with the sampler I stitched and of course it is still on display). Now my question is this - what colour scheme should I use? I did gold and yellow for their 50th, silver and crystal beads for their diamond wedding. Apparently 70 is Platinum so all suggestions welcome. Thanks0 -
sweetcarer - your blue and white sampler is lovely. I find that DMC kits are often generous with the thread so if you copy the chart and use that you may find you have a decent amount of thread plus the original chart which can be auctioned. It could end up costing you nothing:D
chicky - oh no - hope it doesn't take you too long to remedy the mistake. I did a bit of "reverse stitching" myself last night:mad:
aneres - that stocking is gorgeous - they will be so appreciated. And what a bargain :money:
flateric is it every type of alcohol you can't tolerate or just red and rose? Red wine is one of my migraine triggers so I stick to white and so long as I also drink lots of water I'm ok. Hope you're feeling better and able to stitch Snoopy today
Have a happy stitchy Sunday everyone0 -
FOS - star sapphire is the gemstone for 65th. sky blue is the colour. hope that helps.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
