Ahhh the Ladybird Fairy. She's beautiful. I've just started her....
Just be aware that if you want nice dyed fabric, all the beads and special thread, she works out quite expensive...! Gulp!0 -

Afternoon to all from a sunny Derbyshire
Not done much stitching lately - got a bit caught up sorting and 'shredding' my magazines into charts and getting them listed on fleabay. Sold some but still tonnes to list!!!
Trying to do a few small items such as keyrings as I have been asked to maybe have a stall at my daughters nursery fayre to sell some of my cards so might throw in a few stitched bits too. If they don't sell, I can pass them onto friends and family.
Some great progress being made by you all. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I look forward to more piccies.
Emma
PS Thanks to Marie for the chart - sorry I haven't been in touch sooner!!Baby daughter born Jan 10Baby son born June 110 -

Police basically wouldn't do anything (and rightly so in my opinion). Told him to ring RSPCA back........ who told him to take a box home from work - stop and get it himself and take it to them. (ok so it's ok for HIM to stop and fetch it on a road?????)
When I worked in a school one of my collegues there reported an injured hedgehog...... they told her to find a box go and get it and take it to them.
I know it all comes down to money and them being a voluntary organisation but even so.
Still catching up, but I rang the RSPBA last week after one of the woodpeckers that hangs around our garden flew into our front window. He was sat on the lawn all stunned (looking almost dead, if I'm honest) with his wing out. The nice bloke on the phone said to put him in a box in a dark place for a couple of hours and then, if he didn't fly off when we opened the box, to call them back and they'd come and collect him.
Luckily, he started coming round and when I advanced on him, he flew off to his mate who was calling for him.0 -
Nykied - How long did the cushion take you? I'm thinking of starting a 'me' design and trying to pick one is hard!
Months and months - I lost the stitching bug part-way through. Once I got it back though, it was very quick to stitch. Lots of similar colours and I liked that it's split up into boxes.0 -
Afternoon ladies,
23rd - little fox looks really cute.
AM - Love the RM Love Birds
Rina - welcome to cafe - you've earned your seat after all that reading.
Louise - Circe is beautful
Maria - love the colours in Autumn Reflections.
Emma - hope that stitchy bug is back soon.
FOS - great progress on the Jubilee cushion.
Just thought I would update with a couple of little pics - seem a bit pathetic when you look at some of the wonderful masterpieces that are being done.
Enjoy whats left of the weekend everyone.
