I'm a bit cross though cause I've lost a kit! Number 17) butterfly cardIt is actually a little picture, came as the free kit with a mag last year, with the frame and everything. Can't think where it's got to! Was going to do that for SIL birthday as she loves butterflies. I'm doing the Party paws one instead but it's driving me potty! Guess I need to sort out my stash again!
Skoobie - I've found this kit. The chart is with the kit (didn't check if it was in the mag as well). You are welcome to have it as I can't see me stitching it. If you still have my email address please send me your snail mail address and I will pop it in the post. (Like lots of MSE forumites I have lots of stamps) If you didn't keep my email address PM me and I'll give it to you again.

Busy here lately ladies, you put all put me to shame!
My list for this year (and last year too:o) is:
to finished Elegant Lady and
get more work done on my Astronomer
Still no stitching done here, but been quite busy lately, sewing patchwork stuff and starting a new job in a sewing machine shop...first day yesterday, and I sold my first machine!! :j I had a play with a few of the other machines, still can't believe I'm being paid to do this!! :rotfl:
Went to an inspirational talk by this quilter last night...this picture is made with just french knots, thousands of them :eek:!!! It's about 5 inches square and wonderful, but quite terrifying too...sooo many knots, made me feel quite faint!! Just thought some of you might like to see it, and the others pieces following it on the website.
Have a great day stitching xx

Keiss - I agree that french knot picture is amazing! Sorry you haven't had time to stitch, although I am still lurking in the Sewing thread and have seen your lovely work! Maybe I'll get to post some makes on there soon but at the moment I am loving my cross stitch. Am also very jealous of your job, sounds perfect and congrats on your first sale :T

Thankyou debtdalek, Flowers of Scotland and the others for all the good advice re going to the Country Living Spring Fair. I'd never been to an indoor big show, only the CLA Gamefair but OH was exhibiting so that was different. I won the tickets with CrossStitcher Magazine, so heads up if you enter, you dont get much notice before the event! A couple of people said they wanted to hear all about it, so here goes...
I think I said my best mate had charmed her boss into letting her have the day off at no notice, and we went down on the train together. The fair was at the old Royal Agricultural Hall (old stained glass sign) just along from The Angel tube station, so was easy to get to. Having the free tickets meant we skipped the ques and were treated really nicely
We were rather overwheamled at the size of it all. There were LOTS of lovely stalls, all homewears, craft, artisits, just like browsing the pages of the magazine! view from balcony .
I spent quite a bit of money, but that did include many birthday and xmas presents, and a lot of birthday cards! For me I got a needle-felting kit of a tree, an easter mouse and a birdcage decoration. I could have spent a small fortune if my purse was deep enough and my arms strong enough to carry it all home
we did 2 workshops, which really surprised us with the Free content to take away... one was a shabby chique peg rail but the Jan Constantine one was AMAZING! She gave us Jubilee Hearts or Union Jack Hearts (which i got:j), and taught us blanket stitch. ok, i can do that, but she then personally taught me to blanket stitch were there isn't an edge! wow!!:j (pic of workshop, that's my heart and Jan herself with the blonde hair at the front)
Sorry if i've gone on a bit, it just really was one of the best days out i've ever had! My friend and I pootled around at the same pace and were very happy together, which was a relief! Thank you so much for helping me get the guts up to go!! I now really want to go to the Xmas Fair too!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger.
