Can anyone here help me?

Issue 199 of Cross Stitcher came with a lovely tulip cover kit and I have bid on the cover kit and/or magazine several times now but I consistently get outbid every time. Does anyone here have this mag and/or kit in their stash that they would be willing to part with. I am happy to pay the costs.

Ailsb - that is such a lovely design, and it's a QS too, so shouldn't take as long as other designs.

Although it is 'supposed' to be stitched on 25ct, that's too fussy for me (it would become a UFO) I am on my 3rd HAED and have done them all on 14ct aida, as Maria is doing. You can't see any of the backgrond so it makes no difference. All you need to do is take one extra step backwards for the same effect lol :rotfl:

Thanks for the lovely welcome. I have just been lookind at the H&E designs. The black and white ones are amazing. Has anyone done one of these? Do they look as good as the pictures? I really want to do one, I must not until I finish my latest project.

Completed this over the past 2 evenings for a friends' baby. I have been waiting to stitch this design since the Aug 2007 issue of Crosstitcher!:rotfl:





Found the perfect frame reduced to £1.50 in Asda, :money:so I picked up 3 of them - I like the ones with the mounts, I think they make a picture look more professional.

Do you have a link to an ebay listing so I can see it?

I stopped getting CS a couple of months ao so have no idea what issue they are on, but if it's an older one I may have it somewhere.
