Not sure about the Black sheep but agree with the Heaven and Earth and Serenity Designs! Off to look at the HAE site, I saw a girl angel type design which had a dragon sitting on her shoulder stitched in tones of black and white when I was at the NEC. I think it may have been a HAE.

Just to update on the status of my ebay kit coming from Hong Kong. I opened a dispute through ebay at about 11.30 this morning asking for a refund and giving details of the communication with the seller. At about 12.00 I had an email saying that the dispute was closed as a full refund had been processed. :j The seller has said if the kit turns up can I pay for it which I don't have a problem doing.

Off to look at the HAE site now.

Thats great. She finally refunded me today after loads of emails back and forth. Sounds like she got fed up with the hassle and has just refunded us all.

I'm really sorry for all the grief. Trust me I won't be posting another Ebay buy in a very long time!

  • Ailsb and lancs-lady - Glad you got a refund in the end. It is enough to put you off Ebay. Although that said the sellers I have dealt with lately have been great, clearly I have just been lucky.

Speaking of Ebay - can you ladies please restrain me? :o I have added to my stash again :o and feel bad about it as my pile is huge!
I have told DH it is to help me with recovering after the op lol.

Kipper is coming along well - I will post update asap :)

    Happy Easter to all :EasterBun
(I am sulking though as DH bought me a gorgeous Thorntons choc egg - the big posh kind - and left it in direct sunshine the wally! It is now a puddle in the bottom of the box :( here's hoping the easter bunny thinks of me when dropping off the kids eggs! lol)

I've always been lucky with Ebay. I've been buying and selling for nearly 10 years now and have only had the odd problem. These things happen, and I guess its just part of life. I wouldn't have felt so bad if I hadn't posted the damn link. Think I should have waited to receive it first.

Oh well, off to find something else now. When I do receive it, maybe I will post it then, NOT before!

  • Lancs you really don't have any reason to feel bad it could of been any one of the hundreds of links we all post, its just one of those thing, so please stop feeling bad. What did you get in the energy to replace it ?

Thanks Maria, thats really nice of you.

Well I'm still keen to stitch one of the Triptych kits, but they only seem to be available from Hong Kong, China etc, but its put me off a little. Even though I did buy something from Hong Kong which arrived in 3 weeks with no problem, just before I bought this kit we're all having problems with. Think I will do a bit more research see if I can find any over here.

I really like Wolves, so am watching a few wolves kits at the moment, but can't decide which one to go for.

Lancs-lady - please don't feel bad, at least it gave us something to talk about for a while and we have got our money back now. Plus who knows the kits may still turn up - my husband is convinced they are held by customs (he watches too much Nothing to declare/border control).

Anyway I have purchased a chart from HAE, my first. It's this one http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=2497

As I've never completed (or started :D) a HAE before I need some advice. I'm not sure whether to stitch it on the recommended 25 count which I assume is over 1 stitch. Has anyone stitched a HAE on aida rather than even weave and if so does it look ok and what size aida have you used?

Any help would be appreciated as I want to get started as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance.
