Glad the day went as well as it could Louise - take care of you x
Remembered why I love it on here so much - you lot are too bad at encouraging us to look at shopping! Am loving the Fellowship cross stitch but dd would also love the David Tennant and Merlin ones!
Off to rugby match today and then maybe settle down to do some stitching:)Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I have never bought from them but might be worth a look?

Thanks Ladies for the well wishes

Let me add my good wishes to those from everyone else.
This is a very interesting site and compared to what I have seen the LOTR kits are reasonably priced.
I need to keep the Johnny Depp designs away from my SIL's eyes or she will be pleading with me to stitch one0 -
Louise Am glad to hear that the day went as well as can be expected. I can't really add much to the other comments other than to say be prepared for the sudden emotions triggered by little things - it could be hearing his favourite song or thinking to yourself "I must tell Dad about that". It's moments like this that have always brought me to tears after the loss of a loved one. Hope you can pick up some stitching some time over the weekend as it may help you relax and focus on something pleasant.0

But four days off now woo hoo!!
Isn't it wonderful.
I've done the housework jobs that needed to be done this morning and am hoping to do some stitching this afternoon. The garden is calling out for some attention but it's cold and windy so not pleasant out there. Think stitching inside may win
My dad has transferred some cash to my account with the message to "treat yourself". This is instead of an Easter egg which he has always considered to be a complete rip off.
So knowing that BlackSheepWools have a free postage offer this weekend I took a look at their sale and bought the Dolphin Silhouette kit which was mentioned after Louise bought the African Silhouette kit. I also bought some square and round coasters as the prices were good and I like these for presents and also for using in the house for small pieces of stitching. And finally I bought 2 packs of DMC threads - 20 for £4.98 which if my maths is correct is just under 25p per skein
I take no responsibility if you look at their site as they have lots of kits on offer to suit all tastes:rotfl: There were lots of others I could easily have put in my basket but kept my spend to what my Dad has given me so can tell myself they are "free"
Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend with some quality stitching time0 -

Great site - I like the Fellowship of the ring with the sunset background and also the 'One ring' design, which incidentally hubby has a replica as his wedding ringflowerofscotland wrote: »So knowing that BlackSheepWools have a free postage offer this weekend I took a look at their sale and bought the Dolphin Silhouette kit which was mentioned after Louise bought the African Silhouette kit. Thanks. Luckily I wasn't tempted by anything - just as well as I have spent as much as I want to this weekend with Black Sheep0
