You can have a ;) of Beautiful Dreamer if you like, i started him on Wednesday even made my own laminated thread card. Took ages to find a hole punch near where i live :rotfl:

I also found a few Triptych charts on ebid that are in the uk clicky not sure if there are any you like :)

Sorry i seemed to have missed a whole page of replies and didn't realise others had posted serenity designs, they look great though.

Thank you so much I would love a ;) of Beautiful Dreamer. Theres just something about Wolves that I love so much.

I hadn't thought about looking on Ebid, no idea why, I've bought the odd thing off there in the past. I was just going to google Tryptch and see what comes up

Lancs-lady - please don't feel bad, at least it gave us something to talk about for a while and we have got our money back now. Plus who knows the kits may still turn up - my husband is convinced they are held by customs (he watches too much Nothing to declare/border control).

Anyway I have purchased a chart from HAE, my first. It's this one http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=2497

As I've never completed (or started :D) a HAE before I need some advice. I'm not sure whether to stitch it on the recommended 25 count which I assume is over 1 stitch. Has anyone stitched a HAE on aida rather than even weave and if so does it look ok and what size aida have you used?

Any help would be appreciated as I want to get started as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

I agree lancslady shouldn't feel bad. In a way your experiences are an endorsement of EB as I think it would have been much more difficult to get a refund from an individual seller not using the EB system.

Love the HAE design. I haven't attempted one myself yet but I would have thought that if you use evenweave it would over 2 threads = same as 12.5 count aida. The magic guide fabric with the built in guidelines now comes in 25 count evenweave as well as aida.

Looking forward to seeing your progress with this

Morning I'm doing my h&e on 14ct aida and it looks fine, if you want I can post a close up of the stitches so you can see the coverage x

  • I love that HAE design. I've never done one of theirs before, in fact I'd never heard of them until I joined here.

Seriously thinking of buying one of theirs. Might have a look see if they have any nice Wolves designs :D

I really like Wolves, so am watching a few wolves kits at the moment, but can't decide which one to go for.

Did you watch the programme on BBC1 last night about Wolves? You clearly aren't the only one with this passion.

Oh no I missed it. DD was in bed with a DVD whilst I was stitching and watching soaps. I so wish I'd known it was on. They are beautiful animals. I think I love them so much because I'm a true dog lover. Think we need to invest in Sky!
