afternoon all
love the fishes and troutbeck looks lovely framed
confirmed my major disaster the white soluble pen DOES NOT come out of navy adia ive washed it several times and the ghosts of the crosses are clearly visible. its made worse by the fact the design has blank parts in the sky and sea that arent stitched. im so mad with myself for not checking on an edge wether it would come off so ive got over 6 months of stitching wasted.
Titanic was a dimentions kit and i know the adia is 28count but does anyone know how i would match up the threads as they dont have numbers or even say what make they are. So it is looking like im going to have to scrap it and start again. Unless anyone has got a really good suggestion of something else i can try to shift the marks
cant believe i have the kit for 10 years before i start it then begger it up so royaly
hope everyone else is well and their projects are on track
i did take gorguss down to the framers on saturday should get it back next week so one bit of good newsSPC~12 ot 124

I'm not sure that Dimensions use any of the major brands of thread so even the stitching it again is going to be a challenge (and one that I'm not sure I could face in your situation
)
Good to hear better news on Gorjuss and looking forward to seeing her framed0 -
mrs-m im so sorry, the only thing that got it out of my princess castle was a vanish stain removing stick
below is a link to a photo bucket album, there are loads of cross stitch patterns on there, if anyone wants any of them (free) they are all numbered so just pm me the numbers and your address and i'll pop them in the post, dont worry if you want loads they are only light so postage on loads wont be much

well I have been AWOL for a week or so doing nights
so I havent had chance to spend a lot of time on here. I have loved looking at all the pictures they are all great. Well done for all the hard work :j :j
I took the plunge and purchased Jane Greenoff's designer. I have managed to have a quick look at it and turn some pics into charts, but I havent made any yet. I have taken two little cross stitch projects to work with me this week and I have managed to get a bit done on them inbetween working lol.
Back on days next week so I will be able to do a bit of stitching at night again.
Im off for a nit of food now xxcross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

Hmm yes, this happened to me on light blue aida.
I will resolve it by matching some thread to the fabric and sewing over the whole background in half stitches.. a pain, but better than chucking it out...
Sorry it's happened to you too xx0 -

Oh mrs moneypenny how awful.
Maria - thank you for photographing the charts , must have took you a fair amount of time.
When I have more time I think I`ll do that, so I can se what ones I got and keep a record of them. Start when you havent many and then It`ll be easier.
And so good of you to share x
I love the fish xstitch and troutbeck they`re lovely
OH bought me a frame at the carboot today to put a watercolour in , it only cost 50p but it was a seaside picture framed by a framers. I love the picture so much told him its staying as it is.Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
I am
that I missed the heaven and earth sale. On the up side I have saved myslef a small fortune. Maria have you still got thoses tapestry stuff for children. If you have I am interested in them.
Quick question for anyone who has the Jane Greenoff Cross stitch programme
How the heck do I upload the pictures??
I have tried opening files and images but the folders always appear empty when I get to them so I can't open anything. I had them saved as PNG files, then changed them to JPeg and then something else (can't remember now) but I can't seem to open any.
I don't have a photo of the picture so I can't scan it either
Looked at the tutorial but there is nothing relevant
Hope someone can help!
Jane greenoff's designerFile
import
import image wizard
pop up box opens
press next
select file
change the file to a (jpg) if needed
open (jpg) file
next
then in the pop up box it says what size it will be
next it goes to threads
and what type of threads next
finish
then the finished picture should come up and then you can decide if you want it in colour or black/whiteaneres I'm giggling to myself as it was mentioned a few pages ago that someone was finishing some UFO's for her Son. I decided to look at the 2011 thread and on the first page it says UFO's are unfinished objects and there I was thinking I may ask for the charts for these really great UFO pictures.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:There are some UFO, aliens and planet charts in the lastest issue of WOCS NUMBER 188cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot
