Louise - great news about the babysitter. Have a wonderful day and report back on what bargains they had!!

PAP - I still do it and as you all know I have about 20 UFO's and I haven't actually counted what kits I have unstarted. Whilst browsing the other day I found the Rainbow Tree that I liked and managed to resist until Ebay gave the £5 discount the other day and I just had to have it.

I know this is too late for Louise but do you all know that you can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers to buy tickets to ICHF shows - the Hobbycraft / stitching shows. You use £3 of vouchers and receive a ticket to get into any of the shows this year. Hope this helps someone.

I never knew that, but useful info for next year :)

I am saving my vouchers for Legoland this year anyway - DS2 has been asking me for over a year now if we can take him there- he is obsessed with the stuff :rotfl:

:rotfl: Silly isn't it. However it was a good thing, I have found the baby chart/sampler I want to stitch. Its a magazine chart but the seller wants £4 + p&p  Is it me or is that really expensive? Don't know the details so can't try and find it anywhere else :(

    Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well. I'm really anaemic so I'm constantly tired and haven't got the patience for stitching right now, maybe when the spatone starts working I'll be able to get back to it!
For those of you with the lap frames that Louise recommends, do you think I would be able to use it in bed? My SPD has started already and I'm much more comfy with my feet up so I thought, provided I'm extra careful where I leave my needles, I could stich in bed :o

I have a scan tomorrow so I'll post the pics on the facebook group if anyone would like to see :)

PAP maybe if you link to the listing someone will know where to find it ;)

That's ridiculously expensive - last magazine chart I bought was 25p!

Can you link to it so we can see if any of us has it or recognises it?

    I do :o

I am awake later than hubby but he like me to keep him company so I sometimes stitch in bed and watch a dvd lol. You need good back support but it is comfortable enough, but not for too long a period of time though.

Good luck with the scan, I will look out for the pics on FB :D

PS Does anyone know of any nice golden wedding anniversary designs? I have looked on sew and so but nothing takes my fancy....

I did stitch a ruby anniversary card last year and used a design from an old issue of cross stitcher but of course I can't remember which issue of the mag it was !!!!!

Louise, yes the last one I purchased was £1.25 and I thought that was a little expensive. £4 is crazy considering some magazines are £3.95 :o

This is the chart, called new baby sampler 123, its number 13. It has three ballons with bears and clouds. I think it may be from crosstitcher because I reconise the 'what you will need' font but I could be wrong.

Today I will be mostly stitching before heading out to work later, I am now only working for my new job :T
