Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I like the idea of the cross as would like to do something fairly small so that I can put it in a small frame. I thought if it was small she was more likely to keep it in her room.

Hi everyone, I have a pile of ufos which I really need to complete - the first one being a meg and mog picture :D I was wondering if anyone could help me with looking for a chart that was in Cross Stitch Crazy magazine. Just to be helpful, I have no idea how old it is either :o It is for Popcorn the bear and it was a free cover kit with the magazine and he is holding a red blanket. I am awful for doing this, I find loads of free kits stashed away but forget to put the charts with them. If anyone has a copy or at least knows the issue number so I can try and track it I would be really really grateful. Right on with meg and mog whilst the little ones are napping xxx

    hi

all love the mog and meg.

I did get to do some cross stitch last night, made loads of mistakes, its this half stitch thing. I think the bit I done is ok , will practice somemore later.

Hopefully then I will be able to take a picture of it.

Took the plunge and bought a kit from across town stitching. Got to start somewhere, never realised it was so complicated with aida and evenweave and others

Thanks for sharing your technique :D

And yes - it just over the one hole = tiny stitching!

TY, I thought so. It's for Red Riding Hood.
OH just ordered the 25 count evenweave for it, so will just need the threads that I don't already have
    :D

I was wondering if anyone keeps a blog? I have posted in mine again. I think some of you may follow it already but if you don't, its called I would rather be cross stitching :D (its on blogger)

    I have two lol
One for cardmaking and general paper crafts, and a new one I set up this year for cross stitch. The link to my cardmaking one is in my profile thingie when you click my name over there <

and I have a link to my cross stitch blog on there, (at the top of the page), which I really need to update badly, and I only have 1 follower *awwwwwww* LOL

I found this cover kit yesterday, after being let down on eBay with the item not showing up, as I needed something for Mother's Day, so I thought this would fit the bill.
Obviously I had started it when I used to smoke as I can smell stale smoke on it, and I gave up in March 2005, so this one will defo need washing after it's finished.
This was how it was left:
