TellmeitsFriday - this is from the site you listed. I've signed up to the forum using Ailsb again.
This is what you are, a naughty stitchy devil tempting us all.
There are some fab designs on that site. Lots of quite small ones which could be put together or stitched separately.
Nope, not my fault... you don't have to look do you :P
Anyway, if I didn't report my findings you'd be moaning at me!!!
I can't say much mind... I looked at someone's link for sparkly fabric and ended up spending £50 on bits and bobs to make the Ladybird Fairy!!!!!

Just before my sixteenth birthday I did work experience in a primary school - the whole school was infected. I didn't take (tho by brother and sister did) it but I did get shingles. I remember being not very well. Hubby took chicken pox when he was a kid and he had to be taken into hospital as he swelled up! Hope your wee ones get well soon chicky and enjoy their baths in camilie lotion.tellmeitsfriday wrote: »Now, I know I shouldn't tempt you --- but look what I found

I have used this website in the past. The stitch I have left in the States to do when I am over there visiting family is their 2008 sampler. I am dreading going back to it as we haven't been since xmas 2009 and I have got it all grided out with a pen and dread it won't come out now or leave horrible marks. It is in a dark area - its stored in the storage shed. Here is what it will look like in the end.RE the chicken pox, it is rare to catch it more than once but one of my boys has alrwady had it twice and he is only 12, both my OH and I work in education (though I have not been working for the last few months). Every time we hear of a student who has chicken pox we get worried just in case:(
benny1981 I love that Irish sampler, I will have to add it to my to stitch list:)
I got some stitching done last night and this afternoon but got distracted when mr postman brought my Polstitches parcel:j Very quick delivery. I now have everything I need to begin stitching my Green Goddess. Once I have finished my WIP of course;) I also ordered Joan Elliots Astrologer, earth goddess and Celtic angels charts and I now I have seen the charts I can't wait to start stitching them.
Happy stitching all:)
QueenB you have very similar tastes to myself. I would like to do the Goddesses one day and also the like the Celtic ladies. Let me know how you get on with the Green goddess.
Been working away on my little boy blue at home and my blue & white flowers at work. Still trying to work out how to take photos of the work one. We do have a work camera maybe I could sneak it at lunch time to take a quick photo and email it home.
Keep well everyone - have a nice weekend - think of me - I am workingboo hoo.
Kind wishes to all
sweetcarer:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0 -
I have one brother, one sister. One of them had chicken pox and the other one caught it and woke up with spots on xmas day ! I can't remember which one but will have to find out from my mum and see if respective sibling remembers?!
Yay its the weekend. Cross stitch and knitting time - will post pics tomorrow of current progress :T0 -

Well I've taken the plunge and bought one of those massive kits I posted a link for on Ebay a couple of days ago, if anyone remembers. I was stuck between between about 6 of them, and really liked the one below. I thought it would either go above my daughter's bed (she has a single bed, but its pushed longways against the wall) so would look nice there, or above our bed. We would have to redecorate though, but we really need some new bedding and it could do with a lick of paint so would be a good kick up the bum to get it done! :j

I'd be interested to know what the large kit is like when you get it.0
