lancs-lady - Good luck with that project, I look forward to seeing how it progresses, it's really pretty :)

aneres - ah, the hazards of clicking links on this thread!!:rotfl:

flowerofscotland - well done on getting motivated and getting some more of the Noah's Ark done :T

Perfect P - Stunning - I just LOVE the shades on that :T

nmm - I knew it was one of the regulars, I remembered the design becasue it's so strking. Have you thought about a lap frame? I used to gt a clicky wrist and carpal tunnel, using the frame and being able to use both hands has done woders for me.

Lanc-Lady and Aneras - love both of these designs. I want the Rainbow tree from this seller but a little concerned that the auctions are private. I would be extremely grateful if you could post when you receive the kits, both the quality and the speed of receipt. Thanks in advance.

Sadaz - what sort of thing are you after. I did a bookmark for my son and a picture for my nephews. I made the patterns up myself for these but think I still have them if you'd like to have a look. I also have quite a few religious charts. I will have a look for them and post a list so you can have a look and if there's anything you are interested in you can let me know. Happy to ;) if you are interested in any.

Likely to be tomorrow eveing before I can list the charts.

Chicky - I tried to find my copy of the Stitch therefore I stash but I can't find it at the moment.

Stayed up late last night as really got into stitching the free kit that came with Cross Stitch Card Shop. As I was packing up for bed, noticed that the stitch factbox said it takes 2-4 hours. huh ?

I did 4 odd hours just last night ? and thats on top of stitching during my lunchbreaks and on my commute to work this week.

Just the backstitch to do now and it will be finished :j

Will try to get on later to post a picture :T

hi everyone, have just spent a few hours reading the thread. have read about a quarter of it I think. I am going to read it all.

I wondered if I can join in. I usually make cards and am a silhouette cameo addict but wanted a hobby I can take with me when I'm away that doesn't weigh the earth. I did try knitting but as I use both hands to write it was a disaster. sometimes I'd lead with right hand sometimes left.

anyhow I digress , I went to buy some craft books on the Market (hate paying full price) and picked up cross stitch mag by mistake. well thought I'd give it a go and here I am.

so please bear with as I waffle on. nervous you see . and wish me luck as I stitch the free xstitch. bear in mind me and needles don't get on. it once took me 9 attempts to sew a button on. and I'm on my 2nd sewing machine as couldn't get on with first, mind you 2nd onces proving a problem too x
