Thanks - I had resisted so far but with an offer of 10% off and chart packs available .........
I've actually bought the boy version of the birth sampler because I've remembered someone who would appreciate this. And their nursery is decorated with sailboats. I made a cushion when the baby was born and this design will go so well that I couldn't resist

Free postage starts at £20 so of course I had to have a look around and found another couple of charts. Not sure if this really counts as moneysaving but it made me feel better about the purchase :D

Oh I saw this company at the stitchy show at Bluewater, their samplers are gorgeous!
I need to stop looking at all the links, they just make me want to buy more charts!!

sk00bie - I vote for Misty Weniera first, that's my favourite, very delicate looking.

I love The Journey (it just made my list lol) and OMG at winged companions  all that shading, looking at least a couple of years work....wow

No stitching done today yet but was out enjoying the beautiful sunshine. I did pop into a certain craft shop and picked up the threads I need for the green goddess. My thread box and I are suffering from green overload now:rotfl: But i picked up a stain pale green which I may substitue for another green just to add some shimmer and texture to the design.

Chickywiggle boofle design is so cute what plans do you have for it when you are finished?

    WORLD OF CROSS STITCHING
Lots of nice designs, not too many I will be adding to my list though (which is a relief really!)

The birth sampler is a good one which can be stitched up pretty quickly

Daffodil wood is really lovely, I do like John Clayton designs

Margaret Sherry's cat is lovely but too many flowers for me :o

DS2 will LOVE the space designs - I can see me having to make him something from there...actually I could see a whole space scene formed on a large piece of black aida looking really good! All the solar system planets in a row with the other details around them.....hmm....I got that black aida from acrosstown by accident and they told me to just keep it if I could make use of it....

Not keen on the easter stuff. I never actually send easter cards, neither does anyone I know. Christmas Cards are bad enough, I'm not giving myself more work! :rotfl:

Don't like the Roman Goddess AT ALL

I need to hide the hippo alphabet from my mum....she LOVES hippos :rotfl:

As for next month.....Not fussed about the free gift, the regency ladies look nice, and the unicorn mentioned by others is lovely, but not something which I will tackle - too many white/greys

Ok...done...better get onto some stitching soon :T

Flipping heck...look what I found on ebay....

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/completed-cross-stitch-picture-rapunzel-/330694523840?pt=UK_Crafts_CrossStitch_RL&hash=item4cfeedfbc0

All that work and I bet it will go for next to nothing :(

    My verdict on WOCS....

Like the Margaret Sherry cat but not the flowers? Sampler - thumbs down. I think its odd.

The Spring Bloom cards are sweet but not sure its something that I would ever get round to stitching?

Durene Jones Nursery friends - like the rabbit ? but not the colour of its ears and paw pads - doesn't work for me. also - why can't they have a picture of Durene smiling ??

not won over by the design library either (solar system)

Don't like Durene Jone's kitchen design ? not what I am used to seeing from her?

Have seen better easter designs than those featured so doubt anything will get stitched there.

Eternal Grace not my cup of tea! - nor are the henrietta hen project

April flower is sweet though - but not sure I would stitch.

Not too fussed about the hippos either.

Oh but I do like the newton bear !

next month looks ok - can't beat a bit of pooh bear :T

Oh and in the world of flat eric, returned to work on monday - got home mon. evening to discover WOXS on my mat as well as Cross Stitch Card Shop! typical! Have started the free panda kit that came free with card shop. Will post pic at weekend.
Oh and as for the finished piece on e-bay - walked past the charity shop today near my office only to see a huge cat cross stitch design in its frame for £4. except the design had been framed so that at one end, it was say two inches from mount to design and at the other end it was four inches???

Oh and back to WOXS - free kit is sweet but probably something I would stitch for the sake of stitching rather than because I wanted to stitch it.
