I too couldn't resist looking at HAED site but I did resist buying anything............this time :D

I love that along the forest path design, so many designs only one lifetime to stitch them:(

Soulie, that little album is so beautiful, the natural colours are so classic.

Thank you, & thank you to everyone else who commented on it. I agree the colours give it a classic vintage type of look.
I really should sort some photos out to put in it

sk00bie - i vote for the unicorn, tho both are lovely.

QueenB - he's my dads fathers day card.

no stitching progress here. went for a meal with someone from work last night then onto the muppet movie. apart from the fact i kept falling asleep i was pretty disapointed in it. we both came out saying "it was ok, but not what i was expecing" but we couldn't really pinpoint what it was we were expecting if that makes sense.

toddlerwiggle's got chicken pox (and we are hoping - n that evil you only get it once way) that tinywiggle picks it up too. either way i want it out the house before my mum comes up on the 11th........... and our holiday at the end of the month.

im sure theyll all give each other chicken pox chicky its usually a generous ilness and much better caught when young. my eldest got it from 4+ gave it both her sisters and her dad which was not fun it was the illest ive known him the spots were everywhere soles of his feet down his throat! it was notthe best christmas/new year weve ever had. when the boys were born i actively sought out friends whos kids got it to make sure they got it over and done with.

mrs m - i know, really want em both over and done with before they are too old.

sorry (may have to beg to differ) the dragon but the whole nature of chicken pox is you get it once and then immune to it - there aren't strains - perhaps you are thinking of german measles or something??

they both seem ok (other then toddlerwiggle being spotty), well nothing calpol won't sort out.

  • You can have chicken pox more than once... most people build up immunity to it after the first dose, but some people get it more than once...

I agree - I had chicken pox as a child and then developed shingles about 4 years ago but in a very mild form. Doctor said that was probably due to the antibodies I had developed from the bout of chicken pox reduced the severity of the shingles. But it's still a good idea for the children to get it over and done with because chicken pox usually a much worse illness in adults. Hope your 2 cope with it ok chicky
