I found it Maria, I remeber it now. Lovely design, I wouldn't stitch it for me but it is very nice. I do really like the birds in it.
PerfectParadox, aww it was a great choice, I do love the design. whatever you do with it you must have it on show somewhere, its too good to hide in a drawer. Please keep updating us, its nice to ahve some colour when all you seem to work in is whites/black/greys :rotfl:
I am not quite sure what I want to do just now, I was taken by this but it looks weird (well the Loved does) and also I don't really want to it in blue because if it isn't a boyFor simplicity I was thinking of this  However something like this, amending the details at the bottom is what I would love to do really, even though it isn't modern
ocemeer, love that card, very cute
Benny, the roses look stunning :T Can't wait to see those finished. Yes thats true, plus it so confetti stitching thats why. I don't want to use a pen and the thought of marking out the squares seems tedious to me. I am thinking about doing it on my rose design though to see if it does speed me up. London is going in my bedroom, above my bed prob, it will be put in a white frame to match those already in the room but I may use a red mount to make it pop. The blue one (big one) is supposed to be for my room too but we shall see because the room isn't huge
sweetcarer, love that blue boy, and he is coming along nicely. I remember stitching a cover kit for AMY and enjoying it but I ahve never been drawn to a full kit, yet.
Louise, thanks, slowly slowly but I am enjoying stitching it. There is another bus to stitch too but haven't got that far yetI do really love the design, its modern and lovely. Thats why I want to stitch westminster too because thats London using a different style.
Froddington, love that peace stitch, beautiful coloursYou seem to have been very busy, enjoy stitching your rats.
Been a mad few days as I have been in work f/t over the weekend. The children were around tonight so only just sat down. I might stitch later I may not. will prob update this time next week again because I have next weekend off so will be stitching non stop :j0 -
postingalwaysposting I really like that first sampler you showed, couldn't you change it from blue to a neutral colour like yellow?
I stitched a sampler for my neice just before she was born 2 years ago but i lost it:mad: I know its in the house somewhere but can't find it anywhere so i may have to do another one for her.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Thanks QueenB I do really love it, but I can't find a chartOnly this which I am unsure if its the chart/kit, I think I will have to email the company.
However I have now spotted this, so its between these two now I think, unless PP has anything in mind. I know this new one is very modern though. I did another I loved but it would be too much to take on, its lots of counting and lots of confetti.
 at losing it, are you edoing the same one or another totally different?0 -
There must be something in the air, as I too have been sorting through my magazines and transfering the details on to a database.
So far I have found 4 magazines that I had two copies of(Cross Stitcher 157, Cross Stitch Crazy 78, 83 & 84), so they've all gone on to eBay whilst it is free listings weekend.
Been working on the Dalek Victory poster, but won't post an update pic until all the yellow \\\ arms have been finished. Once those are done it's time to rotate again :T

Oh definitely red! :T
When mounting, I always choose one colour from the design for the mount to make it all tie in, it's amazing the difference a mount can make - in your case the red is perfect
Prime example was the fairy I stitched for my friends christmas (2010)- I actually took this one back to the framers and got him to redo it(Hubby picked it up or I wouldn't have even left the shop with it lol)

Gosh I've only been AWOL for a few days and there is so much to catch up on.
Love all the pictures of the updates and finished projects and also enjoyed the links to what people are thinking of for their next project.
Didn't get much done this weekend as I was a bit caught out by them having another free listing weekend hard on the heels of the last one and had to do the photos, write ups etc etc and then get the kits loaded on yesterday afternoon.
By the time my broadband crashed and I discovered that I hadn't saved a couple of the descriptions I had written earlier, which I usually copy and paste as I load, and issues with my pictures being too small - never had that one before, that took out virtually all of yesterday.
BTW are we allowed to post our seller name on here?0 -
Morning everyone
Just popped in to say how great everyone is doing. :T
Unfortunately I'm not feeling the love for my current project - cat in a spotted cup. Not particularly fond of cats (sorry all cat lovers out there) but cartoon ones are usually ok. I'm sticking with it though - it WILL NOT become a UFO
I think there is a card I want to do in one of the mags that I think is out this week so I had better get going with this darn thing.
Great to see you have got the bug again sweetcsrer - long may it stay
Have a good day everyone

Any ideas or has anyone a wink wink nudge nudge??
This is how it looks

I probably have this in my stash as I used to buy the JN charts as they came out and this one is quite old. But it will be the weekend before I can check0 -
Despite the kits lining up in my storage box that still need doing I'm indulging in thinking about what else I'd like to stitch.
I saw someone on here mention that they had a set of "seasonal" pictures that they swapped as the year rolled round. What a good idea - four pictures for the space of one on the wall, I thought....
So...I need to find four (or possibly five if you count Christmas as an extra "season") pictures that go together as a set.
I like celtic designs, horses, cats, fantasy (but more dragons and dark elves than fairies), landscapes (especially seascapes or mountains). Like Louise I don't like to stitch flowers and I'm not fond of fluffy animals.
So - any ideas? One or more of you lovely lot will know exactly the designs I'm looking for!0 -

Don't know if your taste or not but I really like these Janlynn ones, (scroll down to the 5th kit listed) http://www.blacksheepwools.com/acatalog/Kooler_Design_Studio.html:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
