Hello all :j
susan - I'm fine...........well back aches a bit but thats from sorting through all my dla/pension/hospital stuff and OH's and put them in a bigger folder thats easier to get at.
Took me biggest part of the day to do all that.
Oh eck...........just realised my cleaning girl leaves in 3 weeks as she's off to Scotland !!! I've got someone else lines up thankfully but I'll really miss her and she's no vehicle.......been a boon to have cleaner with a car...........she'll take me to the shops to get craft stuff and have a look in the charity shops. She's no car this week and her OH is dropping her off so I'll see if I can walk down, get the sewing/card stuff I want and get a taxi back.
Oh I do hate change...............she's been with me for a year and been a total boon. Now I keep thinking of all the other things I want her to do for me..........sort out bookcase, clear out stuff in spare room thats really no good for pressies and put the stuff that is in some drawers so at least I can see the bed in there.
Oh well, what doesn't get done won't and I'm not going to fret over it. It's not worth it.
Off to Grabbit board to see what this monsoon jewellry is like:)
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I think of the shops had less xmas stuff in, ou card warehouse had sold out of their 2/4/8/bags for £1 mid december.
I went into Evans, and I would say a good half of the sale rack was stuff that was there before xmas, I think shops reacted to the credit crunch and cut back.
Hoping Boots still have some stock for 75% sale... I have vouchers burning a hole!!
Miss Hoodies back at school 2mor bless her, back to the books for me. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hi everyone,
I have just joined the sister thread and thought I should join in here as well. I already have my lists and budgets and things, I also have some gifts already bought along with tags, bags, paper and things so just a case of getting down exactly what I have out there and what else I need to get and keep my eyes out for bargains!

Hello all :j
Well, half the decorations are down.......I managed to take the frabric hearts and bits and pieces off the dresser and found shoe boxes so I've written on whats in them and where it goes.......save me scratching my head next time. OH thinks he'll be able to do the tree tomorrow.........it'll come down easier than it went up.
Neighbours daughter taking me into town in the morning to get embroidery thread (I'm attempting a sampler ) and a look in the charity shops see if there are any 'unwanted pressies' worth having then craft shop for card and glue so I can start getting christmas cards done out of the way.
OH went to pain clinic yesterday...........been given yet another pill that will take about a month to get into the system and see if he benefits from it. If not he's to go back for an injection. After all this time they might as well have given him that anyway I think. Still, boffins know best..............don't they ?
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

BHS have a fantastic sale on at the moment, including a 10% code and free delivery until midnight tonight.
I managed to get a gift set for £3, 2 birthday gifts at £1.50 each, 2 wine gift sets at £2 each and a whisky gift set for £2 so that's quite a few gifts sorted along with a mirrored photo frame for £3.60 yay! Best thing is it cost me around £15 for the lot which is excellent and means that I now have most birthdays accounted forCredit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011
