    Hello all:j

Just when I thought I'd got everything in hand eldest son says he'd like a scrapbook (I did a sort of family tree one for him and his brother the other year) so he can do his own. Not a clue what colour/type/papers etc he wants.....several facebook messages, phone messages/texts and he's still not got back to me. I've googled galore and the prices vary so much so I'm left scratching my head about it.
Meanwhile, garage is being cleared out :T Trailer full of one lot of rubbish..........more to come........can't believe its all ours:eek: Mind you the builders that were here last year left a load of their rubbish behind -thanks builders !! No hidden gems been found as yet but a few things that can go to the charity shop. Can't wait to get the rest of it cleared now but have to wait till the lad who started it gets his mate in tow....its too much for him.......the next lad will be heavier stuff. Least we can get in there now and see whats what.

Hope you're all ok and enjoying the sunshine:)

    Good morning Santa's elves :)

Pouring with rain today, so our planned trip to the zoo is off. Instead I am going to make apple curd, apple crumble, possibly some marmalade and do some research, Turbo Listing, organising and hopefully watch the Olympics opening ceremony.

It seems appropriate weather to do the Christmas wrapping but I need to get past my little girl's birthday first - it's on Saturday. How can she be three? We're having a party on Friday, loads of little kids running around.

    What are you up to?

Sugarspun, I can't believe your little one is three either!! Blimey, doesn't time fly. I can remember when you were expecting her.

I havent done much today at all, got MIL down for the weekend and had the tele on all day watching olympics. Had no internet this morning so felt like my arm had been cut off lol. Luckily it came on lunchtime and I was able to watch the Grand Prix on there while watching the Cycling on the tele lol. Raining here too and its quite dark already even though its only 5pm.

    Hello all :j
Still recovering from sitting up watching olympic opening ceremony -don't know why we just didn't record it.

No rain here so far but a lot of dark clouds about so in came the garden seat cushions just in case.
Trying to pin my son down to what sort of scrapbook he wants for his birthday in a fortnight and at this rate it'll be cheque with card and get his own..........save me postage as well.

Think we're due some rain so maybe if I get some xmas paper (are the shops selling it yet?) I could wrap up christmas pressies. I'm doing a xmas eve box for foster daughters little girl so could do flannel reindeer, reindeer food etc. Just need a box from shoe shop to cover and must look back in my xmas book and see what else I put in grandsons. I know there was baby shampo with a snowman label covering up the label on it, little towel with something christmassy sewn on it........can't think what else.

    Hope you're all ok:)

Was raining here this morning Mary but sun has come out now, hope it stays out as I have to go to the health clinic today.

Lost another 2lbs this morning, 1 stone 10lbs now. I still cant see a difference myself though.

I started making the bag for my daughter out of newspaper yesterday. Cut out a load of strips and sat and folded some of them up, still have some more to do before I can start putting them together.

Heard from the lady about the craft fair, she has cancelled the one in August now, going to try for one in September instead although the date she sent me for the new one is mid week so hoping she got the wrong date as would be better of a weekend.

I have been glued to the olympics too Susan. have been making a bag out of old newspaper for ED so I have been able to sit on the settee and do it. Been taking some pics so will put them on the blog when I have finished. My MGS was round yesterday and he helped me all day so I got a lot done, just need to fix on the handles today and sew in the zip and it will be finished.
