Hello all:j
rufus -like the car tidy idea.........useful gift.
Well, having sat through a Noahs Ark type afternoon of heavy rainfall I now find its seeped through the bottom of the outside door to the back room where we keep the freezers, washing machine and the outside loo  Mop and bucket to hand I did what I could then bless me if it didn't start pouring down again............
Least thats the worst.........pity the poor folk in town who've just dried out after the last lot.
Nothing much done today apart from a bit more painting on some cards for charity shop.
Couple of birthdays due at the end of the month but I've got them sorted. Just need my son to make his mind up what he wants for his birthday in August.
Physio tomorrow, pop in to the fabric shop, round the market and charity shops then home........hopefully with a few bits and pieces that are cheap and cheerful.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I hereby vow and undertake that this year, as soon as all the gifts are wrapped and posted or stored under the Christmas tree or Santa's secret waystation, I will sort through the gift box and allocate everything outstanding onto next year's spreadsheet for next year's recipients. And I will buy nothing - nothing - from the sales that is a just-in-case gift with no definite 2013 recipient in mind.
Yours,

rufus. I like the sound of the car tidy sounds fab, you have some good ideas. lol at the big number scales.
mum2one ...tut tut tut. encourages us all for eBay and forgot yourself lol. Some of my items I listed as collect as they were to big for me to take to the post office. 4 have been taken . but one is paid ( sold last Saturday) and I've contacted the buyer to ask when they're coming and not heard a thing. odd isn't it? I hope they don't think I'm posting it . it'll cost more to post than the item was sold for. nothing ever runs smoothly with eBay .Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -

Happy birthday for the other day and welcome to the over 50s club xx
Susan, it wasnt my idea for the car tidy, I used a tutorial I found on the web. I would make some more to try to sell but I am not that happy with the popper, I bought a pack of them that has a tool and you just need a hammer to fix them on, was fine doing it and went on easy, both parts, but when you press them shut they are hard to close so wouldn't want to make them and have people moaning about the fasteners. They were not cheap either.0 -
MrsMoneypenny - belated happy birthday, hope u had a great day xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

What a night, our fav place a+e.this time mum, she tripped on the rug on Miss Hoodies room, and came worse off, she fell into the bedside unit, got her off the floor best we could.
Then realised was a 999 job, couldn't see her ear for blood, shes sliced through her straight across the middle right through to the eardrum, cut above her one eye, other eye going to be a shiner so her face.
Miss Hoodie she was a star, considering state mum was in, she ran and got the neighbour while I rang the ambulance, running around getting clean teatowels to pad the ear up with, sods law dad was out with the dog, so the male neighbour bless hos heart got in his car and drove round looking for him. The paramedic was going to take her up in the ambulance car as it was too long wait for the ambulance, but they arrived. The hospital sent for an ENT specialist, they've stitched from eardrum outwards, shes not allowed to wash her hair for 12 days!!
I am so pround, considering the state mum was in, Miss Hoodie was shaking herself, yet still made sure that mum was ok.
Good news we got mum home at midnight, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
