Hi all
mum2one, hows grandma hoodie doing?
Right question. I sold an heavy item on ebay. It was collection only. The person has paid via paypal a week ago and have emailed to ask when they are collecting and havent had any reply.
How long do I hold the item , bearing in mind I got the item and the money. I just want it out the way now. I wish these people would answer...Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Not sure on that one Susan, I think I would just leave it where it is until the buyers time limit has gone whatever it is (as in how long before they can put in a claim for non received) and then contact Ebay. You could always contact Ebay now and ask them otherwise.0

Hello all :j
Well what a day ! Got up, quietly reading the paper and knock at the door..........hospital transport for me ! No no says I.........its not till Wednesday (got that stuck in my head for some reason) -checked my diary and he was right..............twas this morning. So rushed to be presentable, off we went collecting others on the way. One chap was from a new housing estate and driver took ages finding him......result 3/4 hour late for appt  Plus side, chlorestrol has gone down, back in 6 months. Sat in tea shop waiting for driver to collect and the room went round -I get vertigo so whether it was that, the heat, bright lights or the fact I'd rushed about so much I don't know. Was glad to get home anyway and sat in the kitchen for the afternoon, cool and not so bright.
Heady feeling went, have dinner, log on and what happens ? Can't access my email account with yahoo  Forgot password.......typical ! No point in creating a new one.....they'll only send it to e mail account I can't get into at the minute ! So, think I'll unplug everything in a bit and hope computer forgets it and lets me in tomorrow.................lol
No point in the ''help'' sections......they just ask the problem and say they'll send an e mail which I can't get !!
Good start to the week plus we have use of a trailer for the week to clear the garage and so far no ones turned up to help as promised. So, think I'm going to either sit in the corner and suck my thumb in childish fashion or grab the recliner and glue myself to the tele...........option no 2 sounds favourite................lol
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Blimey Susan, well at least you have the money for it. I would be more annoyed if they said they were going to pay when they came and picked it up.
Had a couple of days out in the garden Mon and Tue as OH's Mum came down to stay. Was nice spending a bit of time out there and seeing the flowers. Yesterday I spent the day doing the washing and getting that out and dried.
I got another voucher from McCains site this week so thats two £10 shopping vouchers to put in OH's birthday card, he can spend them in Halfords. They are stopping the vouchers in December so hoping to get one more out of them before then.
I used my £10 Sainsbury voucher. Wanted a new pair of jeans in the next size down and my old ones keep falling down now I have lost a bit of weight. Had a look in Sainsbury but their cheap ones (£12) were much too stretchy and showed up all my lumps and bumps and their other jeans were £25. Couldnt afford them so OH gave me the tenner for the voucher and I went in New Look and got a pair in there (£12). I am hoping this pair will last me out til I go down to the next size. I lost another 2 lbs this week, well it has been over the fortnight as scales hadnt moved last week.0 -
Hello
is it challenge day?
I've just realised that I haven't anything for my little girl to give her dad for Christmas. Crap. That is TWO gifts, plus chocolate coins, plus candles to go in the candleholders I have for the Kindergarten teachers, plus some HM cakes, plus all the cards to write and send, and parcels to send, and wrapping to do and menu plans to make and grocery lists to sort out and party to organise, plan for and have and ARGH it is just as well it's five months away.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Sugarspun you are the most organised of us all I think lol. I was checking my list out this afternoon. I still have a few things to get for Christmas but not sure what to get. I have ideas for some but not started on them yet but will have to get my finger out and get them done. Got to make Art Folders for three little ones so need to buy some crayons and colouring books for them. I need to order another Vista print mug for one of the grandson's to put chocolate coins in too. ED might get another hand bag if I can be bothered to make one, the last one I made her was out of old newspaper folded up. She used it for over a year so thinking of making her another one of them but from Mags this time. Son and his fiance are having some money towards their wedding, I am saving up £2 coins for that and hope its worth giving to them by Christmas. I have one niece that I haven't sorted yet, she is 12 and not quite a teenager but too big now for toys. Was going to give her one of my sewing baskets I made but her Mum was saying the other day that she bought her one with all the bits in so can't do that now. Might make her a shoulder bag like I made for the other older nieces. Not sure who else I have to find things for, I will have to check my list again lol0
