    Hello all:j
You are all so organised -well done:T
I'm not............well xmas cards are all made and birthday cards as well but I must sort out something for sons girlfriends birthday in October and foster daughters baby who'll be 1 in September.
Been bogged down either with olympics or sitting in the garden or pulling the odd weed or two up so shoe boxes still not got for xmas pressies. Didn't go into town this week........got the bus to see my friend instead. It's only a 5 mile trip and I would just about stand the bus ride for that far.....no more though.
Must seriously get my ''do'' hat on now before its gets a mad panic

mum2one -weird thing with the butterfly but nice :)

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

That sounds lovely, I stayed up there about 20 yrs ago, ( I feel old now!!), went on a coach trip, it was my 1st time in Scotland, loved it, the fish ladder, is that the salmon leap thing, vagely remember there was about 20 of us went for a walk by the river.

I was lucky as the yr after, went back to Scotland mum and dad came then we went twice, stayed in Callender and Fort William, one of the trips we stopped at pithlochory for lunch so it was off to the hotel bar for a drink!!

We had a good day today, met some friends for lunch, fab pub, (not nice prices) half way for us all, and they treated me and Miss hoodie to lunch, there was the couple, her one daughter, her bf, and his daughter, who same age as miss hoodie, they hot off bless them.

Dinner was lush, Roast loin of pork, with rocequfort cheese and apple, mash with smoked bacon and port jus, Miss Hoodie had carborna, then we went to Ice Cream farm, it was heaving, so we grabbed a table, great as the other daughter came to meet us, it was that busy we were having to do relays for coffee, icecream, drinks, at one point we had to ring friends daughter to come back from playing with the kids so we could go to the loo!!
we all fed polos to goats, miniature horses, donkey, lamas, it was amazing.
Just feel slowly turning a corner xx

Yep mum2one that's the one but no salmon this time of year.
We have been reviewing our finances. It's gonna be an expensive year coming with 3 at uni (DS starts next month), one year of bike loan still to pay and two years on car loan. Oops. So belts going in a further notch. OH has agreed one place we could cut is pressies to each other. But 50s kinda special so i want to do a hamper perhaps setting limit at £50. I have decided to see the coming year as an exciting fiscal challenge ;-)

Quite plzed, its free listing weekend on ebay, do them, but not 100% keen on them, as I think everyone roots top to bottom, more sellers, less buyers, but put mine and Miss Hoodies old dslite on, £20 and £25 each, apparently mine was limited edition, and they've got bid on already and still 9 days to go!
