    Advice needed...

My friends daughter is getting married just before Christmas, her bf has a little girl, think shes about 7 or 8, he's in the army based outside UK, the child lives with mum.
in summer hes coming across and during the stay, were meeting him and his DD, thought take small little pick and mix bag for her,
(keyring, mini purse, notebook, felt pens).

There getting married b4 xmas, (thats the plan), as there on xmas list, the quandry is whether to get his daughter a present, - would it look pushy, thinking under £5 and putting it off Miss Hoodie.

I've just ordered these from ebay

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260946890881?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

(work out under £2.50), - thought Miss Hoodie takes this on holiday and it gets broke or anything not going to be a problem, got one for me as well - just got to get memory card. Thinking of getting a couple for her friends for xmas and adding one in for the girl as well,
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

we did a table top sale this morning, made £10, after paying table, not to bad, as the school near to there had big car boot, but weather was unpredictable, so we worked on the basis of go where we know and make a few quid, then risk having to pack in the pouring rain!

Hope you get the box covering sorted, xx

Survived town and managed to dodge the showers, thou been chucking it down tonight.

New glasses - mse as bogof specsavers, they should be a week. Got rest of dads bday present, £186 and theyve both got reactions, so plzed with the price, and get £80 cashback from a policy dad pays so all helps reduce down.
    Box of allsorts
    Atlas
    2 x word search books
    3 x lynx deordrants
All for £8 very impressed with that - thats from DD.

Managed to get 20 little packs of showergel from superdrug all reduced to 10p, got mix of xmas trees, doplhins and football boots.x

Then the usual recap call from the csa - told them there a watse of time, don't bother ringing till they actually have some sensible news! xx

hope all are well - you certainly all sound busy
    miserable weather again
spent yesterday stitching so thwe picture for my brothers twins is now finished and framed, the one i didn for my mum with just poorly twins name on is also finished and framed but ive decided to do her one for other twin as well as it feels mean doing one twin without the other for her.
had a sort out in my stitchy stash and found a little owl card id stitched last year so putting that in a safe place for mils birthday. at the car boot i bought a lovely toiletry set that will make a lovely birthday pressie for my niece (only £1) will add it to the notebook set id picked up earlier.
got our wedding anni to decide what to do for this month (its my 50 a few days before so were having a meal with friends for that) a few card only birthdays and then august its my mums 70th so getting a few ideas together fr that one - thinking a hamper of some sort.
