What do you think about the above verse, but it be done like a book mark, the bottm has 2 hearts and a wedding ring.
I saw something like it on ebay worked out £7 inc postage for 50, but I can print them for a fraction of the price. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mum2one i think the verse is lovely. Know what you mean about printing prices. We always print our own and even buy the nice paper and still works out loads cheaper.0

Hello all :j
mum2one - love the verse.:T I always either make my own up or copy/print them off the internet. Lot cheaper that way and just as nice on decent paper.
Well, not done much today after yesterdays sorting but did get down the town to deposit some stuff in the charity shop. That was enough for me then it was home and sitting in the garden struggling with a crossword............and I mean struggle:mad: Gave up in the end.
Among my ''clear out'' stuff I've found an empty shoe box -brilliant for putting some pressies in. I can't believe I'm almost sorted out. Bound to have forgotten something..............lol
Hope you're all ok and enjoying some sunshine:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I tried to put a photo on here from Photobucket of the sewing baskets I made for Christmas presents and for my stall but cant get the link to work properly for some reason. I have put photos on my blog if anyone wants a look.0 -
Rufu - those sewing baskets are lovely and love the new round ones as well.
Thinking with the sewing kit would you not be cheaper getting ome rolls of cotton and using some cardboard to pop it around, packet of pins and split them?
Grandad Hoodie had some good new today, his car passed the MOT with no fuss, (nearly no fuss0 just need a tyre in the next few months, all the stressing and moaning he's been doing....... casually reminded him that he can now get my car sorted (he bust the lights and the indicator lever!!).
Thank you for the kind comments re the verse, I was thinking of rolling it up and tieing it in golden ribbon.
Have a free Christmas present today - part of my book order was missing they replaced those sets that were missing, but also replaced another set of books (were worth £60) but was £10, set of George gently books, so thats another xmas prezzie done.
Now have started knitting a red cardigan for my friends grandson for xmas, really Christmasy red and the pockets on the front have white stripe, he'll be 0 mths at xmas, but apparently big baby, so doing age 2/3yrs that way they can put it over something else then, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I got a freebie also today, ordered Thomas the Tank Engine (huge thanks to whoever mentioned it) from The Book People, with a few other books and got a Jamie Oliver book free, so that can be a gift to someone also.
I love unexpected freebies!A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Am going to do a hamper for my brother, and want to add little bits that you probably wouldn't ordinarily buy, if I start buying an extra item when I shop, will have quite a bit but not feel the cost too badly. What do you suggest?
Did actually buy him some talc last night, was in a huge dept store which has gone into administration and saw it, had to google who Theo Fennell is, but it was reduced from £55:eek: to £7. Now I doubt that it was ever worth the original price, it does come in a beautiful glass jar with a puff and it smells nice! Think may have to do a smaller hamper for smellies :rotfl:A smile costs little but creates much0 -
