thank you for the challenge mum2one some good ones there

yippee - I'm a winner , thank you very much mum2one and miss hoodie, loved the prize. won't say what it is don't want to spoil it for the others. it was very thoughtful of you both

moneypenny - well done on the frames

Mary- glad to see you still getting about and making / organising

rufus - there's exciting having a fair to di, I tend to stick to Christmas ones. more for the atmosphere than to sell lol

did anyone see the dispatches undercover thing last night on channel four about funeral places. I had to turn it off as it upset me so much. I have worked in some funeral places in my time but never seen anything like that. made OH promise that someone will goto see me everyday in chapel of rest . he said he's having me home!! I'm not becoming a supermarket shelf !!

I didnt see that Susan, sound horrible though. I didnt lose any weight this week although I have been trying hard but I did lose a bit extra last week and might make up for it next week. My new scales are digital and it tells you the odd quarter pounds after the big numbers but I cant see them with my varifocal lenses so just go by the big numbers.

MIL still here, supposed to be going home today so going to have another walk up the town. Was up there ages yesterday as my friend rang in the morning, she was off work so we met up earlier than usual and had lunch and a good natter and a nosey round the shops. I was looking for some really cheap sewing sets, someone had said they had them in Aldis for £1.49 so we had a walk round there but couldnt find any, used to have them in 99p store a while ago but none in there either. Came home and found some on Ebay, there were a lot of sellers selling the same thing, stuck on cardboard with threads, needles etc etc, one was selling them for just under £5 each, found another seller selling exactly same set for £1.60 each so ordered 6 of them. I am making some fabric sewing baskets, going to give two of them to my middle nieces as they both love sewing, and put the other 4 on my stall. Thought they would look better with some bits already in them. I cut them all out yesterday so need to start sewing them up today if I feel like it.

    Hello all :j

mum2one - thanks for the challenge - easy one for me really...........no children to worry about with school etc. , birthday cards sorted and pressies..........thank miss Hoodie for picking me for 2nd place in the £1 challenge. Amazing what you can do for that price.
OH is in the process of clearing the freezer by us eating whats in there before he defrosts it for a fresh start.
    So, I'm all organised........I think:)

susan - didn't see that funeral programme last night...........think it would have upset me too much.
I've spent yesterday and today sorting out 'stuff' into storage boxes, all labelled so I know whats in what box and the spare bedroom is now all tidy with storage boxes neatly on the top of the wardrobe. :T Thanks to the cleaner.........:)
Amazing the stuff I found.........things I'd made last year that I'd made too many of so they'll go to someone this year, and found some boxes I'd had pressies in that I can cover for xmas.

    Hope you're all ok :)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
