You treat yourself, we can get you thrifty for xmas!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Hello all :j
mum2one - thanks. You're right........one half hasn't a clue what the other is doing. So far can't even manage to get someone to answer the phone at pain management
gettingthere - go on, spoil yourself:)
Been lovely day here so had a bit of a weeding session in the garden till my back told me 'enough!'. Blood test and physio tomorrow and they forecast a downpour ! So I'll either get a taxi to take me and pick me up -work out costly -or get a soaking. Maybe if I took some soap I could have a shower at the same time..........lol:rotfl:
Hope you''re all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

not exactly xmas, but have been very thrify and booked a Sun holiday for next yr, as this batch of bookings go up to April next yr, just me and Miss Hoodie w/end in Devon, add a ngt at Travellodge en-route, make it bit longer, 200 mile down there. Even when we paid for 4 people, then we pay service charge £6.25 per night! we checked the website for next yrs prices and we've saved over £100 on the price. V plzed.
Added couple more bits for xmas, so slowly working down the list, all left for bdays Miss hoodie, but going to get her a Kindle (off mum, dad and me), money neutral as we have vouchers ready.
Need to have this big tidy up!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hello all:j
Well, I got through to Pain clinic at last but no way can they change the appt from Aug 15th. I think the only way to get OH's appt with consultant brought forward is for him to see GP and get him to write to the consultant about it. OH's getting so fed up with it all and is beginning to feel like no-one's bothering. I know how he feels. Like banging head on brick wall sometimes.
Went to wedding yesterday...........all went well including the weather.......no rain till today ! What a carry on trying to find a skirt that fitted. Seems I've gained some weight and things don't fit !! Sorted something out in the end, wedding was fine, buffet..........well, but 'iffy' if I'm honest, then the disco started..........cue for us to head home and flop on the sofa.............lol
Mad with myself for forgetting neighbours daughters 18th ! Only got reminded via facebook ! Must hastily forage through my stash and see if there's anything that'll do for her.....she's never fussy thank goodness...........lol
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I was naughty today and got this for Christmas (Miss Hoodie was in love with it when she saw it on ny ebay watch list)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350564611223
I did look at others and they were £50, so think we got a bargain, just finding the rm for it!!
been an eventful day.......
The letter from his lordship turned up, and so far Miss Hoodie been ok, very determined about her views........ so not pushing anything and letting her be.
Grandad Hoodie and Bailey - had their photo taken by the local press, - cut long story short, he was told he and the dog was unsafe to be in the garden when the children were in the school, (bit difficult as our house runs inline with the school, and our garden and the school field divied by a 10ft high fence. There a risk to the children.
We've been through the offical route, which was a waste of time, so were doing the public route. Bailey was so funny, he came wondering back in head up, tail wagging and then swaggered back out. Apparently he just wanted to pose for the camera.
So may be in 2mors local paper!! could be fun. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mum2one, I hope getting it in the paper does something, its terrible he is being told he cant go out in his own garden.
I have lost another 2lbs this week, lost 1 stone and 6 lbs now so very pleased with myelf.
I have been doing a bit more towards YD's fancy dress outfit. This is what she wants to go as http://bluekensou.deviantart.com/art/Arkham-Asylum-Harley-Quinn-139891378
I have made the blouse, and nearly finished the other top that goes over it. We found a white flared skirt in the charity shop which I just cut the bottom off and turned up the hem. Nearly had a fit yesterday though, we were at my Dad's and she was on her phone on ebay, said she wanted a pair of hold up stockings, fishnets to go with the out fit. Said there was a pair going for 99p that had 1 minute left and could she bid on them so didnt think nothing of it, said yes ok, she bid, won and paid, then when I came home, checked my emails and there was an email saying thank you for buying my sexy worn fishnet stockings!! They were some fetish things lol, and they had charged nearly £5 for postage. Just hope it isnt written all over the package what it contains lol, dreading to think what the person selling them thinks either.0 -
Hello all :j
mum2one - good luck with the paper.........:T
Well, another wet day !!! OH is so fed up he can't potter in the garden so we finished up this afternoon with a game of scrabble..............felt like winter.
Managed to find something for neighbours daughters 18th - bit late but she won't mind. Be a surprise for her. Had every intention of sticking gift box together and tying it up with ribbon but then cleaner came and by the time she'd been I forgot all about it ! Senior moment !!
Tomorrow.............really must do it !
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
