    Hello all :j
Didn't make the boot fair on Sunday. Back was playing up and it was bitterly cold. OH went and got some plants I wanted and some veg plants for himself (and me when I eat them.....lol)
Then lo and behold, temperature rises and I've spent two days in the garden..........well almost. I've managed to pot my geraniums and even some marigold seedlings but that was enough for now. There's always tomorrow. I want to go into town tomorrow and maybe do a bit when I get back.
Can't believe the sudden weather change.........hope it lasts now its here.

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Evening all, havent been able to go out so far this week as waiting for a ladder to be delivered. It's not come today so that means I have to stay in tomorrow too. I did sit out in the garden this afternoon for a couple of hours reading though, thought if someone knocked the dog would let me know about it.

Rufus - hope the ladder arrives soon, - we were really pleased ordered 2 prs of curtains (match the backing of the one quilt we got Miss Hoodie), but there going in front room + dining rm)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005SCRSGY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

and a blind for the kitchen, lilac again! ordered Sunday ngt, came today.

Miss Hoodie - shes growing up so quickly, she went out on her bike 2ngt, and then moaned she was bored, so said you can ride a bit further, i'm bored, she doesn't have anyone in the street, all her friends love close together, - but becoz of the last police advice she wasn't to be out of our sight.

But 2ngt, we let her go across the road incase her friends where out, watch on, went out at 7, must be back by 8.30, i was like a cat on a hot tin roof, bless her heart she walked half way down the road, (out of her) so she could cross at the sleeping policeman, didn't go further than where she was told, and back in by 8.30pm. Even the dog was walking around like a lost soul.

I feel sorry in my heart as up till now the only freedom she got was on holidays, she looked so grown up, bless her heart.

off to the pub 2mor to go through the menu for their wedding saga, so feel more reassured after then, less panicing to do!!

Miss Hoodie getting her cleaning challenge reasy... did try to suggest that were cleaned out, but she said no i'm sure there be somewhere to do!! it gives her something to focus on.

Good news we now have the pub booked.... gone for £6.95 buffet
    Ham Rolls
    Cheese and Chutney Rolls
    Chicken Cornation Rolls
    Sausage Rolls
    Pork Pies
    spring Rolls (v)
    chips
    potato wedges

Added on unlimited tea and coffee £1 per person in party, thought cheaper than people paying at the bar and some people driving, think they'd expect the tea and coffee.

My friend - baking the cake, her daughters doing the photgraphs, - they said that be present, - so more money saved.

Can now relax till nearer the time, next plan is to work on the list, (help!!) and figure out to get mother there! x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Hello all :j

Lovely weather again.........really getting things done in the garden......bit at a time as I can't do a lot except pot up some plants OH got me and geraniums........then OH's mate turns up with courgette plants and tomatos for him to plant......and another 6 geraniums for me ! Oh we're going to be a riot of colour............lol Foster daughter bought me a pink lily for mums day, foster son got me an orange one.......OH had got pastel pink geraniums so thats ok but bright red  I shrieked at where to put them where they couldn't give instant migraine ! So, now they''re potted up and round the back door with some evergreens. Problem solved.
Did a little painting for my cleaner.....tried to copy one I'd done years back that she so loves and she was thrilled with it. Spurred me on to do more and when I went into ageuk shop I offered to donate some packs of notelets for them to sell with my little paintings on. Came home to do some and could I paint anything ?? No way !! Still, I've got enough to put into packs and send to the shop for now and see how they go. Never know........they might still be there in 6 months time............lol

Had my weekly walk into town this morning and quick look in charity shops......not much to be had but got some rose petals for the bath -they'll do to add to someones pressie box and a set of three wooden frames on a string.....they all hang together if you know what I mean. Thought I'd be clever and maybe do some paintings for us............not so sure now after this afternoons abysmal attempts.

susan - why are you watching me ? You thinking I'll overdo it ? Not me.......born lazy to be honest and now my back tells me when to stop.

mum2one - well done to miss hoodie :T

    Hope you're all ok :)

Its that nice time of the month - Santas Challenge

Hopefully we have all been blessed with the good weather, and making the most of it!

    Miss Hoodies Corner...

You can all breath a sigh of relief as Miss Hoodie said we could all have a cleaning free month!! but............... theres a catch she has suggested a challenge

    =The Challenge=
You are to spend no more than £1.00... and you have to make something original for Christmas, it can be absolutely anything, as long as you have a person you can give it to.

(think it is because she has making Christmas, Birthday and notecards this week she's in creative mode)

There will a little prize for the best gift

    =Address books=
Due to the lovely cost of stamps, - this is a perfect opportunity to go through your address books, and check all your addresses are uoto date. (When we come to do Xmas cards - they go to the right people)

    =Stamps=
Do a 2 in 1, when your doing the address book, keep a little note of how many stamps that your going to need for Christmas, -
    1st class standard 60p Large 75p
    2nd class standard 50p

    =Fathers Day=
We have Fathers day fast approaching, - if you go in any card shop there is a fathers day card for nearly every male going!! So if you do need a fathers day card, or someone needs a prod this is the time to do it.
(after fathers day - stock gets reduced, could be worth keeping an eye out if there is anything that can be put up for xmas!)

    =Birthdays=
Not in the tradational sense, but if anyone has a Birthdays card shop near them, the shop has gone into admin, and there selling stock off at 50% off

    =Mother hen moment=
Suntan lotion - with the weather getting warmer, make sure you have sun tan lotion, and remember those bits that can get burnt - (answers on a postcard!!), joking apart thou I don't know anout anyone else but I always burn the top of my ears, dad always burns his bald head... We usually have to remind the men!!

    =Christmas Presents=
We're nearly half way through, so now could be the time to bring the Christmas list back out, - see what you have, who have you got to get for,
What I'm doing in getting a notepad and putting the people on there, and leave it in my bag so if anything looks nice, i can check whether I have something for that person.

    =Vistaprint=
Yes the items are free, but there now charging a fee to use uploaded photos £2.24 per photo (if its been used before), I know were still getting the items cheaper, my motto is unless its for mum, dad, me or Miss Hoodie, - everyone else gets a standard design!!

    =Ladies=
As we have done so well so far this year, one little final bit to the challenge - me time- make an hour for yourself, whether you want to lock your self in the bathroom, hot soapy bath with a book, or watch the DVD that hubby just moans up, or you want to try a new hobby, this is our time.

    ---
Hopefully i have not jinked the weather with an easy month... so hopefully we can still be getting organised, but with our feet up in the sun. xxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
