Sorry to hear about the bother with the court Mum2one, seems like its dragging out forever.
I picked up the other two sets of books today, the ones I ordered from WH Smiths. I am so pleased with them. They look quite expensive so I am going to give one set to Middle GS for his birthday and get him some sweets or something to go with them and save the other bundle for his brother's birthday in November. They are quite hard to buy for so I am glad I have them sorted. I am going to have a look and see if they have anything for my GD too.0 -

I survived the day... took Miss Hoodie and her friend to see dolphin tale, but I wasn't allowed to sit with them, as I would cramp their style! and i didn't cry this time

Oo DD found a small stash of forgotten pressies. These have been listed and now safely stashed with others. I think a key feature of money-saving is being organised, smething i have not been very good at but this is gonna change
one of stash was a raffle prize toiletry set on close examination the bubblebath has separated out rather so gonna keep that one for myself. I suspect it had done a few raffles! Walked round town looking for marmite foodie items (must be postable) but nowhere seems to do them. DS suggested getting a marmite ricecake kit ie plain ricecakes marmite knife and intructions lol (wanna do marmite themed shoebox for sisters birthday in march. Hm, hope she's not reading this lol)

Hello all :j
dundeedoll - glad I'm not the only 'disorganised' one...............I've found stuff upstairs in the spare room.......surplus bits I made from 2 years back and unwanted stuff I've had. Just need to go through the bookcase now and sift through the books that are 'as new' and been read and they can be passed on to someone who'd enjoy them. If I'm really careful when we de-clutter the front room there could well be a few pressies there to pass on and I'll have another ''cheapie'' xmas.................lol
Hope you're all ok and managing to stay warm:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Went to a christening today. Regifted pressie wrapped in opened up pretty paper bag with saved gold ribbon, card from stash. Wrapping paper was an emergency -note to self buy roll of non-xmas paper to wrap such pressies. Will try past times tomoz so thanx for that tip Here's a challenge someone else set. Re xmas dinner. If you ever see money on the ground, however small, pick it up and put it in a jar. At the end of the year he had over £60! I tried it and picked up jst over £40. So far this year £1.12 mainly pennies largest coin 10p :-( but the year is still young. My new years resolution was to do at least 10,000 steps a day (i have a very sedentary job) so coin hunting fits well with thatMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025
