Susan glad the hospital went well xx

OH's Mum rang last night, said she had some toiletry stuff for Christmas that she wont use and did I want it for regifting. I dont mind as my eldest daughter likes this kind of thing for her birthday etc. She also has some gift bags for me to put away for next year.

We went to Boots yesterday and couldnt find anything in there reduced apart from naff things like water filters and a couple of tubes of something.

I am meeting my friend today as I havent seen her since before Christmas so a lot of nattering to catch up on.

    Hello all :j

susan - good news about the hospital :T

Finished one little 'primitive cross stitch' last night so for a change today I did a few more cards.....spent half my time looking for the pritt stick OH got me and it was right in front of me still in the paper bag.................lol senior moment I think !
I walked into town yesterday -and back !!! My word I know I've done it ! Stiff as a plank today. Still, its an achievement for me.
Now off for some ''sofa'' comfort -of a sort..........if I wasn't propped up with a load of cushions don't know what I'd be like. Keep looking on line for another one but its hard when you can't get to shops to try them out. I'm more confused now than when I first looked.

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

rufus that's great about the things.

Mary - a little exercise is ok , but working into town wow , don't you be over doing it lady
all this talk of cross stitch has got me thinking, I got some somewhere , perhaps I'll do some in the evenings , keep my hands busy.

I'm having a craft day today, been itching to have one and really want to share some free silhouette files.
my craft room abit of a mess due to putting things in there ready to craft . so I'll sort it out and then see how it goes x

Susan, I saw your little pianos on your blog, they are brilliant. I had planned to have a craft day today doing sewing but cant get motivated yet. I have some embroidery to do as well so plenty to do, its just getting in the mood to do it.

    Hello all :j

susan - no panic with my ''excercise'' -going into town would be a ten minute walk if I didn't have the problems I do but with my sticks, once I get going it's not too bad. I should have got a taxi back though. It's a very slight incline up our road and even OH says it can slow him down a lot and he's more mobile than me. I just kept telling myself this time last year I couldn't walk and never thought I would again..............now I can and I so want to do the things I did before but really must admit defeat. I just hate relying on other people and don't want to get my scooter out yet........haven't even had a trial run round the block with it and don't want to forget to brake and end up in the middle of the road.........
I'm paying the price for my walk................stiff as a plank I am so been card making and did a few notecards as well.........case of sitting down doing something then walk about a bit and so on.
Tomorrow will be sewing day again I think............I'm really enjoying it. Couldn't cope with the proper cross stitch patterns but these 'primitive' ones don't have to be perfect (mine aren't.............lol) so they suit me fine.

mum2one - hope solicitors went ok:)

Evening everyone. I did get some embroidery done after all. I did some pansies which I want to use for some cushions I am going to make for the shop. I have put some photos on my blog.

I'm going to search the web to see if I can find some different flowers to do now as I enjoyed doing these ones.

Thank you all, the solicitors went ok, we've done a personal statement, at last the GP has finally wrote to him, considering he asked in Oct, the letter wasn't dated till mid Jan!
He's done all the files ready for court, its out of my hands which I hate, but we're get there, hopefully.

I've kicked off badly with cafcass, I put the complaint in regarding the court officer ringing the ex with the info on miss hoodie, only to find out they have been in contact with him after every meeting. The manager at the local office reckons its standard pratice, but as I said if the court wanted him to have any info they would have authorised it, Its in black and white he's allowed no contact, not allowed to stalk me any way shape or form, he'd been tracking me on the internet, (but was so funny as he found my original facebook account, lost the password, and set up new one. I've been blowing hot air, asked for a transcript of the conversations, I'm going to email the solicitor to update him, as I'm sure thats got to be illegal, its imoral at the least, but after the court case intend to make this my next project, someone somewhere should be able to help.

    xx

I wish you luck Mum2one, you should be able to write a book about it by the time you finished xx

I am keeping my eyes peeled on the Grabbit board for something for my Grandson for his birthday in March. He will be 11 so getting to the difficult age so might end up with some money, but then again, I find they waste it. I gave the eldest one money for his birthday and he was spending it on stupid things like going in McDonalds or buying bags full of sweets. Suppose it gave him a lift for a couple of weeks but then he had nothing to show for it.

    Hello all :j

mum2one - you really should keep a journal and write in it what you put on here.............would make good reading in a few years time:)

rufus - brilliant pansies :T Don't think I could ever do anything like that. I'm limited to daisies on a stem with couple of leaves...............lol
Love the patchwork/applque cushion............been meaning to have a go at one of those and now I've seen yours I just might. Have to sew it by hand though. Not got around to getting one of those little mini-sewing machines ..........well, not yet anyway.

Should have outcome from the complaint I sent to the hospital last September so I've been told. It should arrive tomorrow so we'll see.

Every intention of doing some sewing today but out came the card stuff again.........had two cards left so I fiddled about and did those...........thats 39 I've done since Christmas !! Mind you they're nothing special, just cheap and cheerful.
Now it's birthdays...............but tomorrow I'm doing sewing -need a change:)

    Hope you're all ok:)
