Hope it goes well today Susan xx

Mary, at least you have some cards sorted. I made myself two tops at the weekend but they need a bit of altering as the necks are a bit too big so I might do that today xx

Should have my new mattress coming this afternoon, hope they get it right today and remember to bring it with them.

    susan hope today goes well
rufus i hope they get your mattress right today
havent really done anything apart from finally getting all the christmas stuff neatly put up into the attic - i have brought paper crackers and cards in the sales they are up in the attic.
sorted the birhday card list out for this year and gone through my card stash to see which ones i can use from there. going to cross stitch some of the special ones that i need rather than buying. i need a nice one for my sister as its her 4th wedding anniversary on 29th feb marrying on leap year day means she only gets a card every 4 years so ill stitch her a nice one.

    hope everyone is staying warm

    Hello all :j

Actually managed to get a bit of a ''primitive'' cross stitch piece done till I ran out of the colour thread I was using. Have to wait till Thursday now. Tomorrows early closing day here. Hoping neighbours daughter can take me into town.........if not I might attempt to hobble there and get taxi back. No sense asking oH to get what I want........heaven knows what he'll come back with...........lol
Cleaning girl came today........her last day as she's moving. I shall miss her. She really got me going last year, walking and getting out of the house, little trips out in her car...............she was such fun to have around. Oh well, least I've got another lady lined up to take over the hoover.

susan - hope the 'submarine' is ok:)

Hope you're all ok - stay warm:)

    Afternoon all

The mattress came and it was lovely and comfortable last night, it felt a lot softer than the last one although they were supposed to be the same.

I did some sewing yesterday, got two more cushions finished for the shop. Got one of the tops sorted but run out of steam to get the other one done.

    Hello all :j
Managed a bit more sewing today........not a great deal but I'm pleased with it. I'd had some free fabric samples -sort of duck egg blue with white outline of flowers on so I embroidered around some of the outline in darker blue and turned them into little fabric hearts -even OH was impressed.........lol
Finished off a few more I'd already cut out and tomorrow I'm getting more thread so I can finish off the 'sampler' I started.
So not a bad day altogether.

    Hope you're all ok:)

Bit more than planned, but dad contributed £20 towards it... he's finally seen the idea of buying when you can!! xx

everything a ok at hospital , haven't got to back for a year

was at Barnsley Market yesterday. love craft magazines . one of my downfalls. found a super stall . sells all mags £1.50 , so picked up a couple. very pleased.

haven't done any crafting this week yet. unusual for me. been busy. and none today . I moved the disabled outing to today as I had hospital on tuesday

Susan, thats absolutely brilliant news about the hospital.

with the stuff from Boots sale, keep thinking, I like that, but being gd and putting them up.

Fun and games here, I had very lazy day in bed, think got onset kidney infection, and we've got Miss Hoodie off school, bless her mum had to take her to the docs, she gets exzema, but this looked different...... yep its inpertigo, apparently theres 2 strains, the simple one where your contagious for 48hrs, or the more complicated one - where due to the spots etc your contagious lot longer.
Miss Hoodie doesn't do things by half!!! Shes got a weeks worth of pencillian medicine, so not looking forward to ringing the head 2mor. Could be a panic...

Got solicitors 2mor to give statement before court, I have just got a gut feeling its going to end up in his favour, but am trying to stay strong.

Good news got OU assisgnment back ngt and got 63, not 100% brilliant, but not put heart and soul into it, made harder as the course is based on being in a work related environment, thats been a bit of a hard one... had to exagerate the PTA... they think its weekly meetings, and so super organised, whereas the reality its once a term for 20 mins, and everything is cut and dried before hand, under those not to bad.

Got to get rear back into gear and do some studying again next week, got an assisgnment to be in by next Fri. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
