mary dont worry bout the tablets, every tablet is different for everyone else depending on your pain threshold.

My pain tolerance is sky high, i broke my collar bone and didnt realise for 8 mths. It hurt but i kept putting it off...lol and i break fingers regularly, thats how i learned to do everything with both hands...:rotfl::rotfl:

Hello all and welcome BB :j

Haven't done my new year resolutions yet -hope its not too late............I always say I'll be more organised and never have been as yet so think I might change that to ''try harder in all areas''.......others might be to put something decent on every day instead of my ''slobbing about'' stuff, moisturise daily (keep forgetting), tell OH every day that I love him -thats a must and I stick to it after all last years health issues, write more letters (I do that anyway), de-clutter and stay de-cluttered (thats a hard one for me) -can't think of anymore at the minute...........in all, must strive to be better than I have been and do something 'creative' every day.
Managed to stick to that one so far as disability limits me a bit.
Today I started making some christmas cards.......only last years I've cut up and re-designed for want of a better word. Got 7 done anyway so thats a fair start. Used up the old xmas cards and I want to get them done out of the way.
Tomorrow I really must tidy my desk so I can see whats underneath all the papers that are on the verge of falling off............hate that job............if I filed stuff away when I got it I wouldn't have this job to do..............thats another resolution that always falls by the wayside. Ho hum............lol

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Xmas Saver!
Hi BB3, hope your ok, anything that you can get towards next christmas all helps out, it sounds like you've mad a big dent in the list by getting cards etc.
Card Warehouse, def everyones friend!! I always try to do a few months of cards at a time, and have a few spare you never know.

An update on the Halifax saga, what a surprise the money hasn't been paid, rang up again 2day, the advisor said she would be able to sort it in 5 mins! yep.... 1 hr 45 mins later finished the call. They've back tracked the complaint till August... doh thats when the money went missing, (turned up Oct), so now as well as the £70 payment thats floating in mid air! there going to give me another £35. Which apparently will be in account by Thursday.... personally I have more chance of getting to a size 10 first!! But said this is the last call, next stop every newspaper, until one takes the story and the financial obsbumnem.

If the money does appear, be a godsend, as get laptop set up, I'm not technical so I have a guy that does it all for me, and we need DDs laptop looking at, dad dropped it.. and broke the bottom, and chipped where the charger goes in, so kill 2 birds in 1 stone.

Got to be good and back to the books 2mor, slightly took too long of an xmas break! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Have made 17 jars of apple chutney and red onion marmalade (had 4 kilos delivered to me instead of 4 onions!) so fingers crossed they keep until Xmas. Did hear lots of jar tops popping so hopefully they have a good seal. Now I need to find somewhere to put them since I am also one the Old Style board de-cluttering challenge!

    Hello all :j
Every intention of giving my desk a good sort out today but young lad came to do a bit of plastering (couldn't concentrate on whats to be filed where with him chatting away) so I ended up doing a few birthday cards ready for this year. Got four done.........not many but its a start and every little helps as they say.
Oh and did make a little notecard for my friend.........I said I'd write more letters so this is a start and she loves it if I've made it specially for her

    Hope you're all ok:)

(Tomorrow is a ''must tidy desk'' day!)
