Mum2one- well done on the ou assignment. I know how involved they can get... And make sure you get a thank you for all the work you doing. People are quick enough for the kids to go to things but rarely want to help

Thank you all for helping with DDs things. I'll give them to her and hopefully I'll be ok.

Mrs moneyenny. I been knitting a scarf for two years lol.

Cdsmiler - I got the message and haven't forgot been snowed under with craft fair makes... Perhaps an iTunes voucher or cash for teenager. I been decorating cardboard boxes and putting vouchers inside .
I'm a bit stuck for DS this year. He loves lynx sets and sweets but there's only so many you can give. And my friends teenage I get aftershave for as his mum doesn't like designer brands . Or how about a beanie hat .

Rufus - I'm trying for another amazon voucher , just need £10 for OH present. Should make it fingers crossed ...

Footpather - I'll use that logic on DD if she comments lol. Good point well made thank you
Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income

    Hi everyone,

Had a good craft fair yesterday, took £140 in the end, was well surprised. Wasnt many customers there but the few who came liked my stuff. Have another one today so just been sorting it all out again ready.

I have had a few more Amazon vouchers come through in the week so ordered OH another of his dvds he wants (in fact think it was two of them).

YD is asking for an xbox but not too sure whether its a good idea or waste of money as she is never here, always at her bf's place and he already has a game console of some kind. Its a lot of money if its something she wont be using, would rather get her some nice clothes but will see nearer Christmas.

I made a start on the last two cushions the other day for the nephews, just need to finish them off in the week, couldnt really do a lot this week as OH been on nights. Have a bag cut out for granddaughter too so can get that made up as well.

Counted out my £2 coins and I have £72 worth. Want £100 for son and fiance for Christmas so not long to go. Was hoping I would get some yesterday but only came home with one. Managed to buy a nice gift box yesterday to put the moneybox in when its full.

Hi susan, don't worry, like I said it's not until April so no rush! Thanks for the suggestions! My brother visited him earlier this year so I'm going to ask him too in case he thinks of anything!

rufus - well done on the craft fair!

Sounds like everyone's on top of things! Lots of work done this weekend on DD's castle bed ready for her birthday. Also feel almost there with most other peoples pressies. Just need to do some practical stuff - I'ma Celeb is good for that - like watching it live, so I'm making a point of sitting down and doing something NOT on my laptop when it's on for the next few weeks!

    Ah, help!! lol

Just remembered that I haven't thought of a pressie for the child minders!! Ideas?!?!

First year I got them 4 mugs (which I re-gifted...:o ) but in each mug was a different bag of sweets with a different topper, each one Xmas themed - so did reindeer poop, snowman poop, rudolf's noses and something else which I forget!

Last year I did them a film night hamper.

I'd rather get something I've made.....

They are a husband and wife, have two children but the eldest (female) has moved out, is with her partner and has a baby. Younger child (male) - around 11 ish?! - is still with them.

They have an allotment...so maybe I could get them something for that..... or what else?!

Any thoughts would be very welcome!

    Thanks!!

Anyone got a brandy!! Its car insurance renewal time, what a farce, my renewal £240 (gd going) but trying to be money saving, rang the company we have house ins with as they offer multi discount, - was £546 but as a valued customer there do it for £476!!

On xmas front - have ordered last batch of personalised cards from Vistaprint, - so need to get organised and start writing them - think thats Sat afternoon as Miss Hoodie off to the local football match with dad, her best friend and her dad, peace for the afternoon!

If anyone goes onto Halfcost they have 3 for 2 on xmas and gifts - free postage when you spend £25. - Got some wrapping paper and few little nick nacks xx

I have committed an organisational faux pas :O mixed up two birthday gifts in my marathon wrapping session so my niece received a puzzle I first gave her last year and I suspect my friend's son has just opened a Disney princess set. Oops...

Other than that I am impatiently awaiting photo prints so I can put them into the written cards and seal them up ready for UK posting in a couple of weeks.
