    Afternoon all!

*Waves at susan* Those pressies sound amazing.

Looking at what I have left to get, it's only a few things!

Another main pressie for my mum (needs to be good, the other two pressies are books)
Another main pressie for my brother (got his MAIN one, so this is an additional)
Something for friend's teenage son (ANY IDEAS?! lol)
Something for my cousin (male, lives in Spain, just a token gift...)
Something for my Nan for birthday and Christmas
Something for my Aunt for birthday and Christmas

But I THINK that's it! The last two (nan and aunt) will give lists so that's not a problem - I'll just choose from the list.

Not too bad though. Just planning the mad castle cake for DD's birthday now...what have I let myself in for??

Hope you're all well and happy.

Sounds good Clare, nearly there xx

I am nearly there too, still need to get something for my Dad but hoping I will have an amazon voucher by then to get him a dvd or cd, I will let him choose it. Need to make a couple of cushions for the nephews, make a bag for granddaughter and need to get something for ExMil but think that is it then apart from some little bits and pieces as and when I find them. All birthdays are done for the rest of the year, just need a few more birthday cards.

    Hi everyone,

My DD is having hand me downs, I feel really guilty though. We`ve got her a 32" Sony Bravia, OH been tv shopping again, an ipod touch, which DS doesnt want like new. And a netbook 2nd hand but still in box....what do you think. Was going to list them on ebay but they things she`d like.

DS has things as well that I acculmulated over the year.

For my two stepsons and their girlfriends who I go over the top for , I decided not to bother, got them about 10 things each and decided its not worth the effort. The one set buys me purfume (every year OH rells them I`m allergic to it) and the other one buys me a Boots toiletry pack which I can never use as it irritates my skin....

Sorry to ramble but really just stressed about DD`s presents...

Look at it from a different point of view she gets three really good items that she wants and likes albeit not new. The alternative would have been to sell them and she gets one pressie that is new. I know which way I would go :j

Realised I havent got much for my ED for Xmas so decided to do her a food/cooking hamper like I did for son last year. She likes Chinese food so looked on Amazon and found a little recipe book on there for 1p plus pp so bought that. Also saw a nice wok set so have saved it to my wish list and will get it when I get another voucher. Then I can look through the recipes and buy some ingredients to go with it all.

Hope everyone ok, this is one week be glad to see the back end of, why I voluntered for the PTA I will never know, - there enough people putting suggestions forward but when theres work to be done they all disappear!! We ended up having to cook, 700 sausage roll and 700 cocktail sausages!!

Shopped today - few bits for xmas, started off dads, got bottle whisky off Miss Hoodie and 1 off me, then finished friends hubbys prezzie - 4 bottles beer. He was the last prezzie that needed finishing.

Had gd evening took Miss Hoodie to see Magadasar3 it was brilliant, she laughed, certainly helped as we have a buy one get one free card.

The offer of the week at Boots is the Santuary Spa - £19 instead of £40, it is a nice set, wouldn't say worth £40 but £19 for a present def recommend it.

OU assisgnment tomorrow, Miss Hoodies off to her friends, then theatre 2mor ngt to see a play. xx
