            Happy new year flyladies
Having a far too quiet day here today, DS has gone to his dads, DD is still not back from her sleepover and DH is still in bed from his night shift.
 Summary of todays activities
 Bathed stinky the doog
 Bathed the bath
 Mopped bathroom floor
Brushed doogie a bit (must do this more often) and trimmed a few knot
Emptied TD and swopped WM into it
 Reloaded WM
Watched TV and drunk several cuppa
Its far too quiet and boring here on my own :rotfl:
still havent worked out how to do the copy n paste things on this here machine, so cant wait to get my keyboard for it ordered last night to see if that has anything that will help.
No New Year resolutions for me but a few aims that I am going to work towards
Reduce my credit card again as it has crept up
 Return to flylady!
Declutter and actually start to ebay (never done it before, anyone heard of any freelisting days coming up)
 That will do for starters
PS ITS ONLY 359 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS 2012Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0

All clean laundry away. Off to wash up and prep veg for tea. Ds2 has a headache and is feeling sick so has gone to bed to watch a dvd, we won't be going for a walk now i doubt. I'll have to find the wii or i won't manage my HHE today.0

wannabee don't be scared we are all normal just take it slowly and you will see an improvement bit by bit. just take it slowly and you will see an improvement bit by bit.
decogecko I would also send a 'breezy' message to Mr Crush. I lost my nearly 2nd DH at 34 and I would say if you are thinking about moving on in some way and have someone in mind, then go with what you feel. Your late DH would not think it disrespectful and would love to see you living your life as you are still young. If you still 'talk' to him, ask him and see what you get back!! Good luck
DD is back. DS still in bed. I've made the soup and bread. Also cleaned the downstairs loo and done 2 loads of washing. Tried to find a whoopsied joint in Mr T's but nothing there so I will make a lasagne and hide various veg in it; I love to try to outwit the bumpkin teens and as they are a little subdued today I should be successful :rotfl:
 Hugs to all

            Happy New Year everyone
I am feeling very positive about the start of the year - bit unusual as BD hangs around big style over the winter - so:
 1. Joining the weight loss challenge - BMI = overweight and half way to obese :eek:
 2. Will fly regularly - not just read all your postings in awe at how much you all get done. Aiming for level ones every week to start with.
 3. Take positive action to accept/ address health situation - complete exhaustion should not be normal, but if it is I'll find a way to manage better this year
Now on the flying for today - have sorted pile of stuff for recycling. Need to get NY dinner on. Possible trip to Mr A for more whisky :rotfl:
Tradition here not to throw anything out on 1st Jan cos you'd throw out the new year's luck with it. Tricky dilemma - bin collection due tomorrow morning. If I put bin out tonight bad things could happen :eek::eek: but if I leave it I might sleep in and miss the bin men. Neighbourhood noisy at midnight last night (loads of fireworks) so everyone should be too sound asleep to hear me sneak bin out just after midnight tonight :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone, and may your 2012 be blessed with good things.0

A happy and prosperous New Year to you all
I start my new job (and increase my hours  ) on Wednesday, so need to be even more organised in 2012
I will be following the thread, but can't promise to post
See you all on the New Thread :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0

Apologies, I didn't get on here yesterday (load of CAMRA paperwork took an age) so I've not caught up with the last few pages.
Anyways Wolfy (((HUGS))) for all who could use them; wishing you all a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.
And a smack round the chops with a wet kipper for Kazmeister.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:kazmeister wrote: »PS ITS ONLY 359 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS 2012If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Do you want to blog as a hobby or to make money/promote a business? Either way, if you want to talk about it get in touch - it's time we caught up properly anyway. I bet DS has grown!Very little done here, feet up at the moment whilst ds naps. Washer is on though and dw almost full, recycling out and food waste. Also discovered gnawed potatoes in under stairs cupboard so think we have visitors. I am musing I over whether to start a blog or not.
Deco - Holly has already said it... Your OH would want you to be happy. Send your friend and NY message saying you hope you can catch up when he's back. After all, even if it doesn't work out, you can never have too many friends. In the meantime, if you're feeling brave, you could practice by Internet dating. If nothing else it might give you some funny stories to share with him and also be a way of letting him know you're ready for something new.
LW - I thought you were supposed to be cutting down on CAMRA paperwork after they took advantage of you and concentrating doing nice stuff for you and MrLW. Think of all those books you could have been reading...
Went into town, which was dead. Got some fabric swatches from Laura Ashleybthat might work for the kitchen. The lampshade I was looking at online won't work, but there is another (more expensive ) which should look good so will order it. All the curtain tie-backs were too big/fussy so need to think where else I might find them. Also picked up a calendar, tissues and some DVDs. Julian Graves had Rochester organic berry punch on 3 for £10 so bought 6 as it is delicious, and found some organic toiletries reduced in TKMaxx so got £100 worth of shower gel and body lotion for £20 0 0

Just sneaking on to say hello. I'm a bit scared of the flylady thing because I'm so bad at it, but I'm determined I'm going to give it a go and take control of the state of my house. I've been reading for a few days but I will be joining in properly from now on.
Welcome and don't be scared. You are not bad, just untrained:D we will help you, what you need is baby stepsI am 30 and having experienced how precious life is don't want to have my life stop now IYSWIM. I would love to have children, but I've made peace with the fact that may not happen. I do feel ready to move on but only with my crush. My crush has no idea of my feelings and currently working abroad, I believe he comes back in March. The only contact I have with him is via FB but I'm too shy to send him a hi how are you type message, also I know he works long hours and feel like I would be bothering him. I'm rubbish at this dating lark and don't know what to do
Anyone got any advice on any of the above? Sorry I have rambled - I'm torn between trying to move on but not being disrespectful to my late OH.
30 is not old! You have one life sweetie and as you know it can be all too short. What is the worst thing that can happen if you send a message? This is going to be your year, go for it.bonnie_bumpkins wrote: »Happy New Year everyone!
nothing to jump into my knickers
I'm exhausted today, I'll say no more other than I ticked a job off my list very early into the New Year
House is tidy again now, washing everywhere and it's pouring with rain outside.
Doing very well with using up food, fridge is quite bare and the only thing I threw away was the bottom of a pot of cream.
I am going to up the anti with being organised, decluttering, cleaning. Have a really busy first 6 months to the year and I want to start finding time for a new career, job, business something so will need to waste less time. I also need to improve my fitness before we ski at Easter, but that is for tomorrow. I now need to proof read a piece of A2 History coursework. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
